武漢大學(xué)留學(xué)生教育學(xué)院自20世紀(jì)50年代起接收外國留學(xué)生，始終開展全方位、多層次、寬領(lǐng)域的教育交流與合作，共培養(yǎng)了來自世界113個(gè)國家和地區(qū)的數(shù)千名學(xué)生。學(xué)院把開拓創(chuàng)新作為提高來華留學(xué)工作質(zhì)量和效益的源泉，不斷增強(qiáng)了來華留學(xué)工作的戰(zhàn)略性、前瞻性以及開創(chuàng)性。學(xué)院先后與加拿大、韓國、越南、泰國等國家及地區(qū)的高校合作開展了“2+2”或“2+2.5”本科生、普通進(jìn)修生、實(shí)習(xí)生和短期班項(xiàng)目。MBBS英語臨床醫(yī)學(xué)本科項(xiàng)目不僅來自印巴地區(qū)，更來自全球22個(gè)國家，歐美國家學(xué)生人數(shù)呈逐年上升趨勢。
專業(yè)設(shè)置
漢語進(jìn)修
一、普通進(jìn)修生（學(xué)習(xí)除漢語之外的專業(yè)學(xué)生），學(xué)制為半年、一年、二年；
每年9月和2月開學(xué)，申請(qǐng)時(shí)間分別為當(dāng)年的3月1日至6月20日和前一年的10月8日至當(dāng)年的12月20日。
二、語言進(jìn)修生，可隨時(shí)報(bào)名，沒有截止日期，沒有學(xué)習(xí)期限規(guī)定。
語言進(jìn)修是為外國留學(xué)生開設(shè)漢語進(jìn)修課程，由專職對(duì)外漢語教師授課，從聽，說，讀，寫諸方面進(jìn)行培訓(xùn)。學(xué)校根據(jù)學(xué)生漢語水平，將學(xué)生分別編入從零起點(diǎn)開始的初、中、高三種程度10個(gè)級(jí)次的班級(jí)，實(shí)行小班教學(xué)。
三、團(tuán)體班，一般為2周到8周，可根據(jù)學(xué)生需要開設(shè)課程，5人開班。除學(xué)習(xí)漢語外，還根據(jù)需要安排文化活動(dòng)和旅游。全年接受報(bào)名。
