萬建民,男,漢族,1960年6月生,江蘇省泰興市人,九三學社中央委員,教授,中國工程院院士,京都大學遺傳學專業(yè)農學博士,中國農業(yè)科學院原副院長。

現任十四屆全國政協(xié)常委、農業(yè)和農村委員會委員,九三學社第十五屆中央委員會農林專門委員會主任,浙江大學農業(yè)生命環(huán)境學部主任,先后獲國家科技進步一等獎1項、國家技術發(fā)明二等獎1項。1999年被教育部聘為首批“長江學者獎勵計劃”特聘教授。2006年入選新世紀百千萬人才工程國家級人選,2012年入選科技部創(chuàng)新團隊、獲得何梁何利基金獎;2015年當選為中國工程院院士。

2017年11月9日,萬建民會見美國田納西大學農業(yè)分校校長蒂姆·克羅斯率領的代表團。

2021年6月7日,萬建民應邀赴長春市圍繞吉林省種業(yè)發(fā)展進行座談并作報告。

現任九三學社第十五屆中央委員會農林專門委員會主任,浙江大學農業(yè)生命環(huán)境學部主任。

擔任職務

第十三屆、十四屆全國政協(xié)常委,第十四屆全國政協(xié)農業(yè)和農村委員會委員。國家重點研發(fā)計劃專家組組長等社會職務。截至2020年10月,萬建民兼任中國作物學會副理事長、中國作物學會分子育種分會主任委員、中國農業(yè)生物技術學會副理事長、國家863專家、江蘇省三項工程”水稻育種首席專家等職。

研究方向

主要從事水稻的基因定位、克隆和品種選育研究。重點圍繞水稻品質、超高產、抗病蟲、抗逆等性狀,構建高密度新型分子標記圖譜,開展相關新基因的精細定位、克隆和遺傳轉化,并進行水稻功能基因組學、蛋白質組學和生物信息學研究;建立和完善分子設計高效育種體系,與常規(guī)育種相結合,培育具有市場競爭力的優(yōu)質水稻新品種。

獲得榮譽

2000年以來,獲中國高校自然科學一等獎1項(2000),獲中國農科院科技進步二等獎3項(2002~2004),獲浙江省科技進步二等獎1項(2006),獲江蘇省科技進步二等獎1項(2007),獲國家科技進步一等獎1項(2010,第一完成人),申請專利及品種權23項,獲得專利及品種授權8項。撰寫專著3部,在國內外核心學術期刊發(fā)表論文200余篇,其中SCI論文50余篇。2001年獲得中國農學會“全國優(yōu)秀農業(yè)科技工作者”稱號,江蘇省人民政府授予“江蘇省農業(yè)科技先進工作者”稱號,2002年獲得“江蘇省有突出貢獻中青年專家”稱號,2003年獲得江蘇省“全國五一勞動獎章”,2005年獲得國務院特殊津貼和“農業(yè)部有突出貢獻中青年專家”稱號。2006年被評為人事部“新世紀百千萬人才工程”國家級人選。2014年,萬建民獲國家技術發(fā)明二等獎(第一完成人)。2014年,“闡明獨腳金內酯調控水稻分蘗和株型的信號途徑”入選2014年度中國科學十大進展。同年,萬建民獲得教育部2014年度高校十大科技進展。
