1979年畢業(yè)于南京鐵道醫(yī)學(xué)院醫(yī)療系(今東南大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院),美國(guó)MD Aderson Cancer Center、加利福尼亞大學(xué)伯克利分校、德國(guó)海德堡大學(xué)等多所世界著名大學(xué)高級(jí)訪問學(xué)者。
畢業(yè)后先后在南京鐵道醫(yī)學(xué)院完成碩士,復(fù)旦大學(xué)上海醫(yī)學(xué)院(今復(fù)旦大學(xué)上海醫(yī)學(xué)院)完成博士學(xué)位,在烏爾姆大學(xué)血液腫瘤科完成博士后研究工作。

現(xiàn)任東南大學(xué)附屬中大醫(yī)院血液科學(xué)科帶頭人、骨髓增生異常綜合征研究所所長(zhǎng)、腫瘤學(xué)系主任。兼任中國(guó)抗癌協(xié)會(huì)臨床腫瘤學(xué)協(xié)作專業(yè)委員會(huì)執(zhí)行委員、江蘇省抗癌協(xié)會(huì)理事、中華醫(yī)學(xué)會(huì)江蘇省血液學(xué)會(huì)副主任委員、中華醫(yī)學(xué)會(huì)南京血液學(xué)會(huì)前主任委員。

研究方向
腫瘤耐藥方面的研究
白血病治療失敗的主要原因之一為多藥耐藥,在國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金資助下,研究發(fā)現(xiàn)漢防己甲素是一種非選擇性鈣離子通道阻滯劑,它能提高化療藥物對(duì)白血病細(xì)胞的抑制率,且對(duì)正常的骨髓細(xì)胞無抑制作用。心肌毒副作用低,實(shí)驗(yàn)用量臨床可以接受;他莫西芬可通過改善膜結(jié)構(gòu),竟?fàn)幮砸种颇ぬ堑鞍讓?duì)化療藥物的轉(zhuǎn)運(yùn)。二者單獨(dú)應(yīng)用均能逆轉(zhuǎn)多藥耐藥。經(jīng)專家評(píng)定,此方面研究已達(dá)到國(guó)際先進(jìn)水平。
基因技術(shù)的研究
已完成了檢測(cè)腫瘤微轉(zhuǎn)移的基因芯片的研究,并獲得了國(guó)家知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)及發(fā)明專利;并進(jìn)行了蛋白質(zhì)芯片的研究,《應(yīng)用蛋白質(zhì)芯片檢測(cè)多藥耐藥蛋白表達(dá)水平》于中華腫瘤雜志2005年發(fā)表。目前由江蘇省衛(wèi)生廳資助的重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目“微轉(zhuǎn)移基因芯片研制及在消化道惡性腫瘤中的應(yīng)用研究”正在進(jìn)行中。
阻斷腫瘤新生血管的物理原理及生物效應(yīng)
針對(duì)腫瘤血管生成的治療措施可成為一個(gè)新穎抗癌途徑。目前此方面的研究主要集中在對(duì)腫瘤血管生成因子,和抗內(nèi)皮細(xì)胞增殖和遷移的方面。通過前期研究,發(fā)現(xiàn)通過超聲空化及空化核的增強(qiáng)效應(yīng),直接損傷腫瘤新生血管,并已完成了低功率超聲輻射二氧化碳微泡劑致使腫瘤血管拴塞的實(shí)驗(yàn)研究,。將進(jìn)一步對(duì)動(dòng)物移植瘤做進(jìn)一步的研究,并準(zhǔn)備進(jìn)行臨床研究,以期建立無創(chuàng)誘導(dǎo)致腫瘤新生血管內(nèi)皮細(xì)胞損傷及阻斷腫瘤血液供應(yīng)的新方法。
造血干細(xì)胞移植
近幾年開展了非清髓造血干細(xì)胞移植36例,療效滿意,治療相關(guān)毒副反應(yīng)小,經(jīng)濟(jì)費(fèi)用較低,使白血病患者擺脫了病痛,目前處于國(guó)內(nèi)領(lǐng)先水平,在全國(guó)范圍內(nèi)產(chǎn)生了深遠(yuǎn)影響。
