Andreas?Dress，男，研究發(fā)現(xiàn)組合數(shù)學(xué)與幾何學(xué)，研究工作與研究領(lǐng)域包括幾何學(xué)、代數(shù)學(xué)、拓?fù)鋵W(xué)、分子進(jìn)化學(xué)、計(jì)算生物學(xué)、組合學(xué)、拓?fù)浠瘜W(xué)及圖像處理。
人物簡介
曾在德國Oberwolfach數(shù)學(xué)研究所和薩爾洲的瓦登-達(dá)格施杜信息研究中心組織過多次學(xué)術(shù)會議，范圍涉及代數(shù)K-理論、組合幾何學(xué)和近似學(xué)理論。另外，還在德國Bad?Honnef物理中心和比勒費(fèi)爾德交叉學(xué)科研究中心(ZIF)?組織過多個學(xué)術(shù)會議，范圍包括結(jié)晶圖形、拓?fù)浠瘜W(xué)、計(jì)算和理論生物學(xué)等。
早期的工作致力于解決純粹數(shù)學(xué)的問題，從基礎(chǔ)幾何學(xué)到數(shù)論、拓?fù)洹⑻鎿Q、代數(shù)…以及對有限和次有限集合的正則表達(dá)理論。與Manfred?Eigen合作解決了分子進(jìn)化和計(jì)算生物學(xué)的相關(guān)問題，奠定了相似/相異的正則數(shù)學(xué)理論的基礎(chǔ)，被廣泛應(yīng)用于系統(tǒng)發(fā)生學(xué)領(lǐng)域。此后，與生物學(xué)界開始進(jìn)行更多的接觸與合作，使數(shù)學(xué)和生物信息學(xué)、基因組學(xué)緊密地聯(lián)系起來。
近年來，開展了圖形處理和圖像合成方面的研究工作，它們廣泛應(yīng)用于最優(yōu)化理論中的組合學(xué)和離散數(shù)學(xué)、結(jié)晶圖形、化學(xué)、醫(yī)學(xué)以及純粹數(shù)學(xué)中的古典代數(shù)學(xué)和丟番圖逼近。
