聶品，男，1961年生，1990年在英國埃克塞特大學(xué)（University of Exeter）獲博士學(xué)位。現(xiàn)為中國科學(xué)院水生生物研究所副所長，淡水生態(tài)與生物技術(shù)國家重點實驗室主任、中國水產(chǎn)學(xué)會魚病學(xué)專業(yè)委員會主任委員、中國動物學(xué)會寄生蟲學(xué)專業(yè)委員會理事，青島農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)海洋科學(xué)與工程學(xué)院院長。
1982年畢業(yè)于華中農(nóng)學(xué)院（現(xiàn)華中農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)）水產(chǎn)系，獲學(xué)士；1984年畢業(yè)于中山大學(xué)，獲碩士學(xué)位。

1996年在中國科學(xué)院水生生物研究所被聘為研究員、博士生導(dǎo)師。
1999年至2007年曾任中國科學(xué)院水生生物研究所副所所長，學(xué)術(shù)委員會副主任。
2002年至2005年是第九、十屆國家自然科學(xué)基金委員會生命科學(xué)部專家評審組成員。
現(xiàn)為中國科學(xué)院水生生物研究所副所長，淡水生態(tài)與生物技術(shù)國家重點實驗室主任、中國水產(chǎn)學(xué)會魚病學(xué)專業(yè)委員會主任委員、中國動物學(xué)會寄生蟲學(xué)專業(yè)委員會理事，青島農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)海洋科學(xué)與工程學(xué)院院長。《水生生物學(xué)報》《水產(chǎn)學(xué)報》《中國水產(chǎn)科學(xué)》《長江流域資源與環(huán)境》《Current Zoology（動物學(xué)報）》《Chinese Journal of Oceanology and Limnology》《Parasites & Vectors》等刊物的編委。
