苗長興,1963年7月出生于武陟縣,中國共產黨黨員,博士,北京應用物理與計算數學研究所研究員,博士生導師,中國工程物理研究院專家,是中國自己培養的在國際偏微分方程領域有影響的數學家。其主要研究方向為現代傅里葉分析及其在幾何測度論、數論中的應用;非線性色散方程的散射理論;流體動力學方程的數學理論。
1983年,苗長興畢業于鄭州大學。1994年,其獲研究生部博士學位。1996年,他調入北京應用物理與計算數學研究所工作。2010年4月,其所著的書籍《非線性波動方程的現代方法》由科學出版社出版。2019年5月,苗長興在河南科技大學開元校區作題為“調和分析以及在偏微分方程中的應用”的學術報告。2023年,苗長興成為中國科學院數學物理部院士增選有效候選人。他先后應邀訪問日本、英國、法國、美國、波蘭、中國香港并進行合作研究,多次在國際學術會議作邀請報告。多次受邀在北京大學、中科院晨興數學中心、北京國際數學中心等作傅里葉分析與偏微分方程的系列講座。
苗長興曾先后獲得國家杰出青年基金、于敏數理科學獎、中國工程物理研究院杰出專家獎、中國工程物理研究院科技創新一等獎等獎項。他在中國率先開展偏微分方程的調和分析方法研究,在國際一流的數學刊物發表論文七十余篇,在科學出版社先后出版了《調和分析及其在偏微分方程中的應用》《偏微分方程的調和分析方法》《非線性波動方程的現代方法》《Littlewood-Paley理論及其在流體動力學方程中的應用》等專著。擔任國際刊物《Math.Meth.in Appl.Sci.》的編委,其團隊被評價為“國際偏微分方程”領域最具活力與影響力的團隊之一。此外,他還培養了博士生張曉軼、陳瓊蕾等青年學者。

1996年,苗長興調入北京應用物理與計算數學研究所工作。2010年4月,其所著的書籍《非線性波動方程的現代方法》由科學出版社出版。2018年,他所編著的書籍《現代調和分析及其應用講義》由高教社出版。2019年5月,苗長興在河南科技大學開元校區作題為“調和分析以及在偏微分方程中的應用”的學術報告。2023年,苗長興成為中國科學院數學物理部院士增選有效候選人,該候選資格由江松提名。2025年11月,在北京國際數學研究中心,由田剛院士倡議,由苗長興牽頭,以龐逸軒博士與韋東奕副教授為核心成員的研究團隊深入研讀王虹、Joshua Zahl關于三維Kakeya猜想證明的工作,完成并撰寫了詳細的驗證報告,確認這一突破性工作的完整性與正確性。
苗長興先后應邀訪問日本、英國、法國、美國、波蘭、中國香港并進行合作研究,多次在國際學術會議作邀請報告。在中國積極推動用現代傅里葉分析研究偏微分方程,多次受邀在北京大學、中科院晨興數學中心、北京國際數學中心、香港中文大學、中國科技大學、南京大學、浙江大學等作調和分析與偏微分方程的系列講座。

主要成就
苗長興在中國率先開展偏微分方程的調和分析方法研究,在國際一流的數學刊CPAM、CMP、ARMA、JMPA、JFA、AIHP、PLMS、CPDE、SIAM、IUMJ、Revista Mate.Iber.等上發表論文七十余篇,主要貢獻集中表現在調和分析、非線性色散方程的散射理論與流體動力學方程的數學理論等研究領域,解決了若干個具有國際影響的數學問題。在科學出版社先后出版了《調和分析及其在偏微分方程中的應用》《偏微分方程的調和分析方法》《非線性波動方程的現代方法》《Littlewood- Paley理論及其在流體動力學方程中的應用》等專著,對中國核心數學領域的研究與發展起到了基礎性的作用。
