吳乃琴,女,1956年9月生于鹽城市,1982年畢業于南京大學地質系,1985年在中國科學院南京地質古生物研究所獲碩士學位,1989年同濟大學海洋地質系獲博士學位。中國科學院地質與地球物理學研究所研究員。研究方向第四紀地質學;古環境學,古氣候學,古生態學;古生物地層學;生物地球化學。先后主持和參加了多項中華人民共和國國家自然科學基金委員會,科學院重大項目和重點基礎研究發展規劃項目。已發表研究論文40余篇。

研究經歷

吳乃琴研究員選擇晚新生代以來陸相風塵沉積中陸生軟體動物門化石作為研究對象,開展系統的黃土生物地層學研究工作。從現生黃土蝸牛化石組合著手,確定現生蝸牛組合與氣候環境因子的定量關系。建立晚中新世以來蝸牛化石的組合序列,定性-半定量的恢復地質歷史時期氣候環境狀況,在軌道時間尺度上探討東亞冬夏季風變化的階段性、周期性,及季節性變化特征,在百-千年時間尺度上探索黃土高原的溫濕度的不同時性,探討特征時段黃土高原區域性的氣候環境狀況及可能的原因與機制。
