世界遺產大會（session of the World Heritage Committee）是聯合國教科文組織世界遺產委員會會議，該會議主要負責《保護世界文化和自然遺產公約》的實施。是聯合國教科文組織下屬的世界遺產委員會的例會，每年召開一次。首次召開時間為1977年6月27日至7月1日。會議的主要議題一般是審批哪些遺產可以列入《世界遺產名錄》，并對已列入名錄的世界遺產的保護工作進行監督指導。
截至2023年在全球范圍內，共有187個國家或地區加入《世界遺產公約》，是加入締約國最多的公約之一。
世界遺產大會的意義在于推動全球范圍內對世界遺產的保護、傳承和利用。具有提高公眾對世界遺產價值的認識、促進遺產保護國際合作等作用。可以相互交流和分享經驗，促進全球范圍內的文化交流和知識傳播。
2025年7月，第47屆聯合國教科文組織世界遺產委員會會議（世界遺產大會）在法國巴黎聯合國教科文組織總部舉行。中國申報的“西夏陵”被列入《世界遺產名錄》，中國世界遺產總數達到60項。
會議背景
1972年11月16日，在巴黎舉辦的聯合國教科文組織大會第17屆會議上，通過了《保護世界文化和自然遺產公約》。根據該公約，設立了世界遺產委員會 (World Heritage Committee) 和世界遺產基金 (World Heritage Fund) 。公約主要規定了文化遺產和自然遺產的定義，以及文化和自然遺產的國家保護和國際保護的措施等。公約規定了各締約國可自行確定本國領土內的文化和自然遺產，并向世界遺產委員會遞交其遺產清單，由世界遺產大會審批。凡是被列入世界文化和自然遺產的地點，都由其所在國家依法嚴加保護。截至2023年在全球范圍內，共有187個國家或地區加入《保護世界文化和自然遺產公約》，是加入締約國最多的《公約》之一。
會議委員會
世界遺產委員會由187個《保護世界文化遺產和自然遺產公約》締約成員中的21個成員組成，委員會成員每屆任期為6年，每兩年改選其中的三分之一。委員會內由7名成員構成世界遺產委員會主席團，主席團每年舉行兩次會議，籌備委員會的工作。委員會每年在不同的國家舉行一次世界遺產大會，主要決定哪些遺產可以錄入《世界遺產名錄》，對已列入名錄的世界遺產的保護工作進行監督指導。
主要任務
世界遺產委員會承擔四項主要任務：
1、在挑選錄入《世界遺產名錄》的文化和自然遺產地時，負責對世界遺產的定義進行解釋。在完成這項任務時，該委員會得到國際古跡遺址理事會和國際自然資源保護聯盟的幫助；這兩個組織仔細審查各締約國對世界遺產的提名，并針對每一項提名寫出評估報告。國際文物保護與修復研究中心也對該委員會提出建議（例如文化遺產方面的培訓和文物保護技術的建議）。
2、審查世界遺產保護狀況報告。當遺產得不到恰當的處理和保護時，該委員會讓締約國采取特別性保護措施。
3、經過與有關締約國協商，該委員會作出決定把瀕危遺產列入《瀕危世界遺產名錄》。
4、管理世界遺產基金。對為保護遺產而申請援助的國家給予技術和財力援助。

組織結構
聯合國教科文組織
聯合國教科文組織的全稱為聯合國教育、科學及文化組織。1945 年11月聯合國在英國倫會議上通過了教科文組織的中華人民共和國地方各級人民代表大會和地方各級人民政府組織法，1946年11月4日正式生效，同年12月教科文組織成為聯合國專門機構，總部設在法國巴黎。截止2002年，成員有188個國家和地區。
聯合國教科文組織世界遺產委員會
聯合國教科文組織世界遺產委員會是政府間組織。為保證《保護世界文化和自然遺產公約》有效實施，1976年11月聯合國教科文組織世界遺產委員會成立，負責公約的實施，并建了《世界遺產名錄》。世界遺產委員會每年召開一次會議，主要決定哪些遺產可以錄入《世界遺產名錄》，對已列入名錄的世界遺產的保護工作進行監督指導。委員會由21名成員組成，每屆任期6年，每兩年改選成員的三分之一。另外，由7名成員組成世界遺產委員會主席團，主席團每年舉行兩次會議，籌備委員會的工作。
