1964年生，理學(xué)博士。中國(guó)科學(xué)院水生生物研究所研究員，博士生導(dǎo)師。農(nóng)業(yè)部現(xiàn)代農(nóng)業(yè)產(chǎn)業(yè)技術(shù)體系崗位科學(xué)家。中國(guó)水產(chǎn)學(xué)會(huì)理事，中國(guó)水產(chǎn)學(xué)會(huì)魚(yú)病專(zhuān)業(yè)委員會(huì)秘書(shū)長(zhǎng)，中國(guó)動(dòng)物學(xué)會(huì)寄生蟲(chóng)學(xué)專(zhuān)業(yè)委員會(huì)委員，中國(guó)科學(xué)技術(shù)協(xié)會(huì)“病蟲(chóng)害災(zāi)情預(yù)測(cè)與防治”專(zhuān)家組成員，全國(guó)水產(chǎn)技術(shù)推廣總站技術(shù)咨詢專(zhuān)家組成員，全國(guó)動(dòng)物衛(wèi)生風(fēng)險(xiǎn)評(píng)估專(zhuān)家委員會(huì)委員，湖北省政府專(zhuān)項(xiàng)津貼獲得者。1986年畢業(yè)于南京大學(xué)生物系，獲學(xué)士，1989年和1995年分別在中國(guó)科學(xué)院水生生物研究所獲理學(xué)碩士和理學(xué)博士學(xué)位；1995～1997年，在日本東京大學(xué)農(nóng)學(xué)部做博士后研究，2000年9月在捷克科學(xué)院寄生蟲(chóng)學(xué)研究所進(jìn)行合作研究，2002年10月赴蘇伊士運(yùn)河大學(xué)訪問(wèn)研究，2003年6～9月，在美國(guó)夏威夷大學(xué)太平洋生物醫(yī)學(xué)研究中心做訪問(wèn)研究。一直從事寄生蟲(chóng)學(xué)和魚(yú)病學(xué)研究，在國(guó)內(nèi)外共發(fā)表研究論文80余篇，其中30余篇被SCI收錄；參編著作2部；獲得中國(guó)科學(xué)院自然科學(xué)二等獎(jiǎng)和武漢市科技進(jìn)步二等獎(jiǎng)各1項(xiàng)；先后主持國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金項(xiàng)目、中科院青年科學(xué)家小組項(xiàng)目、中科院方向性項(xiàng)目（課題）、農(nóng)業(yè)部現(xiàn)代農(nóng)業(yè)產(chǎn)業(yè)技術(shù)體系建設(shè)項(xiàng)目、湖北省科技攻關(guān)重大項(xiàng)目、武漢市青年科技晨光計(jì)劃項(xiàng)目等，曾參加國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目、 “973”項(xiàng)目、“863”項(xiàng)目、中科院重大項(xiàng)目等。
