中共黨員。現兼任日本帝京科學大學動物科學系客座教授、福建農林大學動物科學院兼職教授、亞洲獸醫解剖學會副理事長、中國畜牧獸醫學會動物解剖學與組織胚胎學分會常務理事兼秘書長、解剖學報編委等。
人物經歷
1989年畢業于北京農業大學，獲碩士學位；
1999年畢業于名古屋市大學，獲博士學位；
2001—2003年從事日本學術振興會博士后研究。
1984年7月參加工作，
1989年7月起至今在中國農業大學動物醫學院歷任助教（1989.7-1990.11）、講師（1990.12-1993.11）、副教授（1993.12-2001.8）和教授、博士生導師（2001.9--）。

人物事跡
陳耀星教授長期專心于專業基礎課“動物解剖學”的教學與科研工作，愛崗敬業，教書育人，獲國務院政府特殊津貼、北京市教學名師、寶鋼優秀教師等稱號。重視教材研究與編寫，針對課程特點，改革以問題為核心和立體化多媒體的教材編寫新模式；把學科的新發展及時轉化為教材內容，保證教材的先進性；切實把握教材內容的深度、廣度和新度，打造精品教材，以適應創新型人才培養的教學需求，解決解剖學課程抽象、枯燥、難學的問題，激發學生的學習興趣和創新思維，助力教學質量的提升。近年來主編或副主編了《畜禽解剖學》等 12 部國家級規劃教材和教學參考書，獲中國出版政府獎圖書獎、全國農業教育優秀教材獎、北京市精品教材獎和全國高校優秀著作獎等。優質教材促進課程建設，主講“動物解剖學”課程被評為國家級一流本科課程、精品資源共享課、精品課程和北京高校優質本科課程、北京市教學成果二等獎，被學生評價為“最喜愛的課程”，同行評價為“全國同類課程的樣板”。
