孟慶偉,男,1959年12月出生,是一位畢業于山東農科大學的博士、教授和博士生導師。他現任生命科學學院教授委員會主任。

1988年至1990年赴美國肯塔基大學農學院進修學習,1996年至1998年赴德國明斯特大學做博士后研究。中國植物生理學會常務理事、山東省植物生理學會理事長、山東省政協委員、《植物生理學報》編委。

主要從事作物光合作用光氧化與光保護的分子機制研究。

1. 植物光合作用及分子調控:以重要農作物小麥、番茄等為材料,克隆與光保護機制和高光效密切相關的重要基因,并分析其功能,為分子育種提供基因資源。

2. 植物抗逆境性及分子機制:克隆、鑒定與低溫和高溫脅迫密切相關的基因,分析其功能。

主持山東省首屆精品課程《植物生理學》和山東省優秀教學團隊建設,主編全國高等農林院校“十二五”規劃教材《植物生理學》(中國農業出版社,2011),國家級精品資源共享課《植物生理學》課程負責人。
