雷富國，男，生于1965年2月，祖籍陜西省渭南市，博士，研究員，博士生導師；中國科學院動物研究所鳥類學研究組組長。
簡歷
1994年于中國科學院動物研究所獲得博士學位。1996年晉升副研究員，2000年晉升研究員，并為科學院動物研究所鳥類學研究組組長。1998,10－2000,2 訪問美國華盛頓大學、加州科學院和美國密西根大學。主持科技部攻關項目、科學院重大項目課題、重點項目，科學院院長基金，國家自然科學基金重點和面上項目，國家教委留學回國人員擇優基金等數十項，發表論著160余篇（部），其中在Science, Molecular Ecology, Journal of Virology, 現代生物出版集團 Evolutionary Biology, PLOS ONE, Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution等25種國際SCI源刊發表論文56篇。
已培養畢業博士、碩士研究生10余人，另外還有5位聯合培養碩士研究生；中組部西部計劃高級訪問學者2位。有兩位碩士研究生畢業后直接赴美國美國華盛頓大學、俄克拉荷馬大學攻讀博士學位；一位博士研究生畢業后赴德國馬普學會博士后從事合作研究，回國后留在動物所工作，現為副研究員；其他學生畢業后分赴中國地質大學、陜西師范大學、河北師范大學、上海自然博物館、青海大學、西南林業大學等大專院校/科研機構或其他政府部門工作。在讀期間大部分學生被評為優秀研究生、論文被評為優秀研究生論文，部分學生具有出國訪問、合作研究的經歷。現有在讀研究生10人，其中博士生6人，碩士生4人。國際青年科學家1位，在站博士后4位。

研究領域
? 目前正在開展中國部分雀形目鳥類的系統分類與分子系統發育研究；基于鳥類鳴聲等行為特征鳥類分類與進化的研究；中國鳥類特有化與多樣性保護研究；鳥類種群演化與譜系生物地理格局比較研究；以及禽流感H5N1 野鳥溯源與病源生態研究。
社會任職
? 1998年南非舉行的第22屆國際鳥類學大會上被推選為國際鳥類學委員會委員。目前并為“全球貓頭鷹項目計劃”中國負責人；世界創新基金會會員；OBC，SSC超級聯賽/IUCN，WWGBP及ARRCN等國際組織成員；中國瀕危物種科學委員會委員；中國鳥類學會副理事長；國際鳥類學委員會委員、第25屆國際鳥類學大會學術委員。動物研究所國家動物博物館管理委員會副主任。Chinese Birds，Current 動物學，Global Journal of Molecular Sciences，World Journal of Zoology，The Open ornithology Journal等刊物副主編或編委。
獲獎及榮譽
?2000年曾獲第四屆“鄭作新鳥類科學青年獎”。
2003年“黑臉琵鷺”獲得第9屆中國電影華表獎。申請者為首席科學家。
2004年“黑臉琵鷺”獲得第24屆中國電影金雞獎。申請者為首席科學家。
2005年獲得第九屆青藏高原青年科技獎。
2006年獲得第一屆中國動物學會青年科技獎。
Science論文獲“科學前沿―中國卓越研究獎 ·2008”。
2009年獲得國家杰出青年科學基金資助。
