周如鴻,男,舟山定海人,1984年畢業(yè)于浙江省舟山中學(xué),1990年周如鴻獲浙江大學(xué)凝聚態(tài)物理碩士學(xué)位,后留校任教,1997年獲美國哥倫比亞大學(xué)博士學(xué)位。曾任IBM Watson 研究院軟物質(zhì)科學(xué)實(shí)驗(yàn)室主任, IBM藍(lán)色基因計(jì)劃生命科學(xué)首席科學(xué)家,哥倫比亞大學(xué)化學(xué)系兼職教授,美國科學(xué)促進(jìn)會(huì)院士?,F(xiàn)任浙江大學(xué)生命科學(xué)學(xué)院院長、浙江大學(xué)上海高等研究院院長、定量生物中心主任、求是講席教授。

周如鴻教授于2011年當(dāng)選美國科學(xué)促進(jìn)會(huì)會(huì)士(美國藝術(shù)與科學(xué)院 Fellow),美國物理學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)士(APS Fellow),并于2012年入選IBM全球八大研究院“將對(duì)IBM,對(duì)世界,可能產(chǎn)生最重大影響”的五名科學(xué)家之一。周如鴻教授同時(shí)擔(dān)任美國分子科學(xué)領(lǐng)域頂尖的Telluride科學(xué)研究中心董事會(huì)的董事(Board of Directors),和芝加哥大學(xué)多尺度科學(xué)中心的科學(xué)顧問(Scientific Advisory Board)。
現(xiàn)任浙江大學(xué)求是講席教授,生命科學(xué)院院長,上海高等研究院院長,科技部十四五“生物大分子與微生物”專家組成員,哥倫比亞大學(xué)化學(xué)系兼職教授。曾任IBM Watson 研究院軟物質(zhì)科學(xué)系主任,IBM藍(lán)色基因計(jì)劃生命科學(xué)首席科學(xué)家,杰出研究員。
在分子動(dòng)力學(xué)模擬蛋白質(zhì)結(jié)構(gòu),功能,以及動(dòng)態(tài)過程、納米尺度水的生物效應(yīng)、以及納米顆粒與生物分子的相互作用等研究領(lǐng)域成就顯著。擁有或已申請(qǐng)14項(xiàng)美國專利。在權(quán)威學(xué)術(shù)刊物發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文102篇,SCI引用3200余次。應(yīng)邀在世界各地大學(xué)、研究機(jī)構(gòu)和國際學(xué)術(shù)會(huì)議上做邀請(qǐng)報(bào)120余次,是期刊《Nanoscale》、《Current Physical Chemistry》客座主編,也是 《Current Bioinformatics》等6家國際期刊的編委。
