張建，男，漢族，1976年4月生，臨沂市人，博士學位。現任政協第十三屆山東省委員會人口資源環境委員會副主任，山東師范大學校長（試用期一年）、山東大學黃河三角洲濱海濕地研究所所長、教授、博士生導師，國家杰出青年基金獲得者，山東省政協委員，民盟中央委員、民盟山東省委會副主委，山東省青年科學家協會副主席。
教育部新世紀優秀人才支持計劃入選者，山東省自然科學杰出青年基金獲得者，“山東省十大杰出青年”、“山東青年中國青年五四獎章”獲得者。

張建，男，工學博士，山東大學環境科學與工程學院教授、博導、副院長。山東省自然科學杰出青年基金獲得者，山東青年五四獎章獲得者，“山東省十大杰出青年”獲得者。
主要研究方向為污水生物/生態凈化理論與技術。承擔了國家科技支撐重點項目、國家自然科學基金、國家科技重大專項等科研課題；發表相關領域學術期刊論文100余篇，其中SCI收錄論文50余篇，SCI他引400余次，入選工程領域ESI高被引論文（TOP 1%）1篇；作為第一發明人獲得國家發明專利授權專利26項。科研成果在南水北調東線工程中廣泛應用，獲得山東省科技進步一等獎1項（排名第二）、三等獎1項（排名第二），指導建成人工濕地水質凈化工程8萬余畝，支撐建成兩個中國濕地公園。

2023年1月17日，政協第十三屆山東省委員會常務委員會第一次會議審議通過，張建任政協第十三屆山東省委員會人口資源環境委員會副主任。
2023年9月，山東省人民政府決定，任命：張建為山東師范大學校長（試用期一年）。
