王晴佳，英文名Q. Edward Wang，男，1958年出生在上海。北京大學(xué)歷史系長江講座教授、美國新澤西州羅文大學(xué)（Rowan University）歷史系教授，英國《中國的歷史學(xué)》主編，國際史學(xué)史、史學(xué)理論委員會理事（2005-15年間兼秘書長）。

王晴佳，祖籍蘇州市，生于上海市，曾求學(xué)、任教于華東師范大學(xué)，美國新澤西州羅文大學(xué)（Rowan University）歷史系教授，1998-2007年間并任該系系主任。
現(xiàn)為美國新澤西州羅文大學(xué)（Rowan University）歷史系教授，國際史學(xué)史、史學(xué)理論委員會理事（2005-15年間兼秘書長），北京大學(xué)歷史系長江講座教授，賓夕法尼亞大學(xué)（University of Pennsylvania）訪問教授 ? (2008,2010) ? 和普林斯頓高等研究院（Institute for Advanced Study）訪問研究員（2010），英國《中國的歷史學(xué) ? 》（Chinese Studies in History(A&HCI journal published by Routledge Taylor & Francis，教育部歷史學(xué)A類期刊 ? ) ? ）主編，Storia della Storiografia雜志編委。
