鄭化出生于1965年9月,現(xiàn)為武漢理工大學(xué)化學(xué)工程系教授(博士生導(dǎo)師)、系副主任、系主任、武漢理工大學(xué)化學(xué)工程學(xué)院院長(zhǎng)、湖北省中藥制劑工程技術(shù)研究中心主任、武漢理工大學(xué)材料研究保護(hù)研究所所長(zhǎng)。他的研究領(lǐng)域主要為藥用中間體合成與工藝、藥用有機(jī)高分子化合物合成與生物學(xué)評(píng)價(jià)、現(xiàn)代藥物劑型與制劑新技術(shù)等,發(fā)表了多篇學(xué)術(shù)論文。優(yōu)異的成績(jī),使他榮獲湖北省新世紀(jì)“百千萬(wàn)人才工程”人選、湖北省優(yōu)秀研究生指導(dǎo)教師、湖北省高校優(yōu)秀共產(chǎn)黨員等榮譽(yù)稱號(hào)。

2007年鄭化被評(píng)為湖北高校優(yōu)秀共產(chǎn)黨員,優(yōu)秀事跡如下:

鄭化同志依據(jù)學(xué)校黨委的《院黨政領(lǐng)導(dǎo)班子工作職責(zé)、議事規(guī)則與工作制度》、《關(guān)于加強(qiáng)和改進(jìn)處級(jí)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)班子和領(lǐng)導(dǎo)干部作風(fēng)建設(shè)的實(shí)施意見(jiàn)》等文件,加強(qiáng)班子建設(shè)。領(lǐng)導(dǎo)班子成員團(tuán)結(jié)合作、分工明確、相互尊重、相互協(xié)作,已經(jīng)組成了一個(gè)團(tuán)結(jié)、和諧、奮進(jìn)的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)班子。

在黨風(fēng)廉政建設(shè)中,鄭化深入學(xué)習(xí)《江澤民論黨風(fēng)廉政建設(shè)和反腐敗斗爭(zhēng)》、《“三個(gè)代表”重要思想反腐倡廉理論學(xué)習(xí)綱要》、《建立健全教育、制度、監(jiān)督并重的懲治和預(yù)防腐敗體學(xué)院實(shí)施綱要》、胡錦濤總書(shū)記在中央紀(jì)委第五次全會(huì)上的重要講話等文件,做到警鐘長(zhǎng)鳴,貫徹落實(shí)黨中央有關(guān)文件精神,學(xué)院領(lǐng)導(dǎo)干部中沒(méi)有違紀(jì)腐敗事件發(fā)生。

鄭化志發(fā)展意識(shí)強(qiáng),認(rèn)真學(xué)習(xí)《武漢理工大學(xué)學(xué)院工作目標(biāo)責(zé)任制考核實(shí)施細(xì)則》,采取措施狠抓學(xué)科建設(shè)、教師隊(duì)伍建設(shè)、教學(xué)建設(shè)、教學(xué)改革、科研工作等,取得了明顯的成效。2002年任化學(xué)工程學(xué)院院長(zhǎng)至今,始終以集體利益為重,克服重重困難,默默奉獻(xiàn),使學(xué)院的整體面貌產(chǎn)生了優(yōu)異的變化。2001年學(xué)院科研經(jīng)費(fèi)為40萬(wàn),2005年則達(dá)到近400萬(wàn),基本上是每年翻一番。2003年獲得了2個(gè)碩士點(diǎn),實(shí)現(xiàn)了學(xué)院碩士點(diǎn)零的突破,2005年達(dá)到了8個(gè)碩士點(diǎn)及1個(gè)工程碩士點(diǎn),使學(xué)院學(xué)科建設(shè)發(fā)生了質(zhì)的飛躍。2001年學(xué)院教授4人,副教授10人,博士3人,2005年有教授11人,占現(xiàn)任教師比例的29.7%,副教授9人,占現(xiàn)任教師比例的24.3%;教授、副教授共計(jì)占現(xiàn)任教師比例的54%;博士學(xué)位教師24人,占現(xiàn)任教師比例的65%,在學(xué)校已居前列,學(xué)院內(nèi)部已經(jīng)形成了一支高學(xué)歷、高水平、結(jié)構(gòu)合理、層次適當(dāng)?shù)囊灾星嗄杲處煘楣歉傻膶W(xué)術(shù)隊(duì)伍。深入調(diào)研,努力把握新形勢(shì)、新變化,詳細(xì)制訂了《化學(xué)工程學(xué)院2006-2010年學(xué)科建設(shè)與發(fā)展規(guī)劃》;全力響應(yīng)學(xué)校領(lǐng)導(dǎo)布置,積極參與組織“國(guó)家工科化學(xué) 基地及化學(xué)化工學(xué)科十一五發(fā)展規(guī)劃”系列研討會(huì),與理學(xué)院協(xié)力合作,共同完成《武漢理工大學(xué)“十一五”化學(xué)化工學(xué)科建設(shè)規(guī)劃》的撰寫(xiě)工作,得到來(lái)訪的金涌院士的好評(píng)。

鄭化同志一貫兢兢業(yè)業(yè),腳踏實(shí)地,工作勤奮,清正廉潔,2002年被評(píng)為校級(jí)標(biāo)兵。2005年招收、指導(dǎo)博士、碩士人數(shù)共計(jì)博士1人、碩士8人。畢業(yè)博士、碩士研究生人數(shù)共計(jì)18人。指導(dǎo)研究生工作評(píng)價(jià)為優(yōu)秀。

鄭化同志主持和參與2項(xiàng)國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金、4項(xiàng)浙江省重大科技攻關(guān)項(xiàng)目、4項(xiàng)湖北省科技攻關(guān)項(xiàng)目和10余項(xiàng)企業(yè)委托項(xiàng)目的研究,公開(kāi)發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文40余篇,其中SCI、EI收錄20余篇,獲授權(quán)發(fā)明專利3項(xiàng)。
