《Ghosts》《Too bad》《Is it scary》本身并不是組合在一起的歌，單獨(dú)聽(tīng)哪一首也不是絕對(duì)吸引人，MJ是這個(gè)世界上最精明，最懂得如何宣傳的人，他于1996年拍攝了一部偉大的狂想音樂(lè)錄影帶，總共39分鐘長(zhǎng)。

改編自Michael Jackson和恐怖小說(shuō)之王斯蒂芬·埃德溫·金的原創(chuàng)概念。Jackson在 片中一人飾五角。導(dǎo)演是好萊塢特效大師Stan Winston。這在當(dāng)時(shí)是最長(zhǎng)的音樂(lè)錄影帶，（《吉尼斯世界紀(jì)錄大全》有記載）其中的背景音樂(lè)就是上述三首歌，在MJ勁爆的舞姿襯托下，三首歌被表達(dá)得淋漓盡致，起到了相當(dāng)好的宣傳效果。（這三首歌一直是我比較中意的歌）。《Too bad》本意表達(dá)的是一種惋惜的心理，放在MV中可以就說(shuō)是對(duì)沒(méi)有嚇
倒鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)的惋惜，但歌曲中又含有一點(diǎn)譴責(zé)，當(dāng)鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)對(duì)邁斯卓說(shuō)：“我不喜歡你。”時(shí)，兩人的敵對(duì)關(guān)系就完全表現(xiàn)在邁斯卓的眼神當(dāng)中了，譴責(zé)之意無(wú)可置疑。至于《Is it scary》這首歌，我一直懷疑是不是專門(mén)為MV所創(chuàng)作的，或者說(shuō)MV是根據(jù)這首歌有的靈感，總之，整個(gè)MV的主題就是以“嚇人”展開(kāi)的，臺(tái)詞中也多次出現(xiàn)邁斯卓帶著有些狡的笑容問(wèn)道：“Is it scary？”，MV的經(jīng)典片段：邁斯卓變成骷髏跳舞的背景音樂(lè)就是這首歌，鬼怪們的尖叫使整個(gè)場(chǎng)面看起來(lái)怪誕又瘋狂。就這首歌而言，創(chuàng)作得還是相當(dāng)出色的，一個(gè)人在黑暗和極端寂靜的場(chǎng)所聽(tīng)這首歌的感覺(jué)可以說(shuō)是身臨其境，棒極了，同樣配上MJ和演員們沒(méi)有章法的舞，十分震撼。歌曲《Ghosts》可以說(shuō)是完全的狂想曲，講述的完全是另一個(gè)世界，伴奏似乎摻雜了砸碎玻璃制品的聲音，讓人不禁聯(lián)想到了僵尸們僵硬的身體，音樂(lè)與主題結(jié)合得非常完美，MJ再一次使用制作MV宣傳歌曲的方法，震撼了世界人。
說(shuō)起MV的另一層意思，不禁感到一陣凄涼，MJ是最會(huì)用藝術(shù)表達(dá)自我的藝人，這部MV看似是一部喜劇，卻映射了MJ生活的悲劇。先看片中邁斯卓的生活環(huán)境：一所孤零零的別墅。說(shuō)明邁斯卓是個(gè)孤獨(dú)的人。而現(xiàn)實(shí)中的MJ也是一個(gè)孤獨(dú)的人，他曾對(duì)媒體說(shuō)：“我是這個(gè)星球上最孤獨(dú)的人，有很多女孩都試圖幫助我擺脫孤獨(dú)，但她們都沒(méi)有做到。”他的忘年交伊麗莎白·泰勒的話很好的詮釋了MJ的孤獨(dú)：“如果說(shuō)他看起來(lái)與這個(gè)世界是那么的格格不入的話，只能說(shuō)他已經(jīng)超越了人們所能做到的極限。”鎮(zhèn)民的安排也別有用心，從人種上來(lái)看，有黑人、白人、拉丁美洲人（很可惜沒(méi)有亞洲人），從年齡上來(lái)看，有幼兒、青少年、成年人、老人，鎮(zhèn)民的構(gòu)成可以說(shuō)就是MJ歌迷群體的縮影——他的歌迷是不分種族、不分年齡的。MV的第一幅畫(huà)面是一幫人手持火把走向邁斯卓的住宅，很明顯的探險(xiǎn)人的裝備。聯(lián)想現(xiàn)實(shí)，在MJ沒(méi)有出現(xiàn)在歌壇的時(shí)候。世界人對(duì)音樂(lè)還是處于一種嘗試與探險(xiǎn)的狀態(tài)，正像最初MV中的鎮(zhèn)民，對(duì)于邁斯卓的“把戲”一無(wú)所知。當(dāng)鎮(zhèn)民們剛接觸邁斯卓的時(shí)候，還有一絲恐懼，他們從沒(méi)有聽(tīng)過(guò)這樣的音樂(lè)，看過(guò)這樣的舞蹈，一切太突然了！然而很快的，他們被這音樂(lè)、舞蹈吸引，身體不禁搖擺起來(lái)，尤其是那些孩子們，眼里閃現(xiàn)出發(fā)現(xiàn)真理的光芒，生活中的MJ不就非常受孩子們的歡迎嗎？想想看，我們剛接受MJ的音樂(lè)的時(shí)候，一定也有點(diǎn)不習(xí)慣，因?yàn)閷?shí)在太特別了，然而逐漸得就陷了進(jìn)去，無(wú)法自拔。因此MV中對(duì)鎮(zhèn)民們表情變化的表現(xiàn)正是人們接受MJ音樂(lè)的過(guò)程。
鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)這個(gè)人不得不說(shuō)，他是MV中最讓人痛恨的角色，這個(gè)角色是由MJ扮演的，化裝過(guò)程相當(dāng)復(fù)雜，這個(gè)角色的原形應(yīng)該是MJ的歌《D.S.》中所唱的那個(gè)可惡的檢察湯姆· 斯奈登。MV拍攝于1996年，第一起童丑聞是在1993年，也就是說(shuō)拍攝時(shí)正好在孌童丑聞平息的時(shí)候，再加上他1995年的專輯《History: past,present and future book1》中收錄了《D.S.》，這無(wú)疑是拍攝的最佳時(shí)間。
因?yàn)?a href="/hebeideji/5843941001149098924.html">湯姆·斯奈登是個(gè)官員，所以在MV中就給了他一個(gè)鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)的職位，鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)一開(kāi)始就和邁斯卓過(guò)不去，而且還百般辱罵他，并用“嚇壞了孩子”為借口遮掩自己的丑惡，和湯姆一個(gè)德行，殊不知邁斯卓的表現(xiàn)說(shuō)明他是很喜歡孩子們的，經(jīng)常給他們變一些魔術(shù)，跟生活中的MJ一樣。當(dāng)看到鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)的種種刁難行為，很多觀眾都想，為什么邁斯卓?jī)H僅是嚇唬他，而不是給他點(diǎn)顏色看看呢？在這里就體現(xiàn)了邁斯卓的人性美，邁斯卓總喜歡搞一些花樣，說(shuō)明他是很孩子氣的，這讓我們聯(lián)想到MJ就喜歡一些玩偶之類的東西，他的心理年齡不足五歲。試想，一個(gè)五歲的孩子怎么會(huì)傷害別人呢？何況MJ也不想讓孩子們看到他傷害別人，因而作為以MJ為原型的邁斯卓沒(méi)有理由傷害鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)。在MV中有很多對(duì)鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)的嘲諷，例如跳舞那一段，美妙的舞蹈安在一個(gè)肥胖的身軀上是不是很可笑呢？MJ算是出了一口氣。
MV中還有一處很吸引人的地方就是那些形態(tài)各異的鬼怪們，其實(shí)這些鬼怪也不僅僅是普通的角色，邁斯卓稱他們?yōu)椤凹胰恕保@就反映了MJ正過(guò)著如同腐尸一般的生活，實(shí)在讓人揪心。然而有一段情節(jié)：鬼怪們紛紛倒立走在天花板上，隨音樂(lè)緩慢下來(lái)，在悠揚(yáng)的圣歌中，邁斯卓張開(kāi)雙臂，鬼怪們不再舞蹈了，而是正立著飄在空中，緩緩下落，之前的歡鬧場(chǎng)面不見(jiàn)了，而是突然變得神圣了，人們瞪大了眼睛，被眼前的景象所感動(dòng)。當(dāng)我看到這里，不禁流淚了，這個(gè)片斷告訴我們，盡管MJ的生活并不好，但他仍舊能夠到達(dá)超越一切的高尚境界，這也是為什么它能創(chuàng)作出感動(dòng)世界人的作品。
當(dāng)邁斯卓從鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)的身體里出來(lái)后，問(wèn)大家是否還要趕他走，鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)大聲說(shuō)：“是的，是的。”看到還有人希望他離開(kāi)，邁斯卓的心在流血，他雙膝跪地砸碎了自己，變成粉末，任由風(fēng)吹走。事實(shí)上，后期的MJ可以說(shuō)已經(jīng)是一種自我毀滅的行為了，他不愿去外界，只是把自己囚禁在家中，不去尋找歡樂(lè)，這部MV可以說(shuō)是一部預(yù)言。鎮(zhèn)民們看到邁斯卓消失了，都傷心不已，他們已被邁斯卓的藝術(shù)吸引，于是從他們渴望的眼神中可以看到：他們希望邁斯卓復(fù)活，鎮(zhèn)民的心理不正是我們歌迷的心理嗎？然而結(jié)局是好的，邁斯卓復(fù)活了，鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)也不知去向了，但愿這部分的預(yù)言也是真的。
《Ghosts》的確是一部偉大的音樂(lè)錄影帶，他的偉大不僅僅在于出色的音樂(lè)和舞蹈，而是他的內(nèi)涵。

It's night and dark out. A group of people carrying burning tourches march through 'Normal Valley' heading for a lonely house on the outskirts of the town. They come to a halt in front of a gate,beside which is a sign that reads 'Someplace Else'.
『夜深了，四周一片漆黑。一幫人正手執(zhí)火把穿過(guò)“普通山谷”走向鎮(zhèn)外一座寂靜的住宅。他們?cè)谝簧却箬F門(mén)前面停了下來(lái)，門(mén)旁一個(gè)牌子上赫然寫(xiě)著“閑人免入”的字樣。』
黑色 boy: Why don't we just leave him alone?
黑人男孩：為什么我們不能讓他一個(gè)人靜靜地獨(dú)處？
White young boy: He hasn't hurt anybody. Can't we just go?
白人小男孩：他并沒(méi)有傷害過(guò)任何人，我們還是走吧？
White older boy：（Slaps his younger brother's head）Your fault jerk! Couldn't keep your mouth shut.

Mayor: He's a weirdo. There's no place in this town for weirdos.

The gates open.

They walk in the gates,and the doors to the house in front of them open.

White young boy: (to his older bother) Just like last 時(shí)間 It's the ghost!

White older boy：（Slaps his brother again）Shut up!

黑色 boy's mother: (to her son) There is no such thing as ghosts,honey.

Mayor: (to black boy) I'm gonna prove it to you kid. Let's go!

The mayor leads them in.

White woman 2: （Nervous） Did anyone call and make sure this is a good time . . . Maybe we should come back later...

Black woman 2: Yeah,like when it's light out . . . you know,like daytime.

They walk all the way into the house. The doors close behind them. Lightening strikes.

黑色 man：（really scared）Oh damn!
黑人男子：（非常恐懼）噢，見(jiàn)鬼！
They walk along a corridor and the door in front of them closes. Another door opens,and they walk in. They come into a big hallroom. They all scream as a raven flies over their heads and disappear into darkness.
『他們走在一條走廊里，突然他們面前的門(mén)合上了，另一道門(mén)開(kāi)啟了，于是他們走了進(jìn)去。他們走進(jìn)了一間很大的廳。忽然一只大烏鴉掠過(guò)人們的頭頂，大家嚇得失聲尖叫，烏鴉消失在黑暗中……』
Villagers: What was that??
鎮(zhèn)民們：那是什么東西？？
They see a flick of a 黑色 cape disappear where the raven landed. Lightening strikes and for a split second they see a person standing there. They walk a bit closer and suddenly see the person's face: a scull!
『在烏鴉落地的瞬間，他們看到一件黑色的斗篷一閃。接著閃電再次照亮了大廳，就在這短短一瞬，人們看到有一個(gè)人站在那里。他們走近了一些，突然看到了那人的臉：一具頭骨！！』
They all jump and the skelleton with the 黑色 cape walks towards them. But to their relief the 'skelleton' is only a mask which the person takes off,and they discover the Maestro's face behind 信息技術(shù)
『人們都嚇得跳了起來(lái)，這時(shí)，穿著黑斗篷的骷髏走向他們并且緩緩摘下面具，這時(shí)人們才松了口氣，原來(lái)骷髏只是那人臉上的面具。他們更發(fā)現(xiàn)那面具后面原來(lái)是邁斯卓（邁克爾在本片中的名字，英語(yǔ)中是藝術(shù)大師的意思）的臉。』
Maestro: Did I scare you?

Mayor: No you didn't scare me. Maybe you scared them,but you didn't scare me.

Maestro：（Smiles）Well that's too bad isn't is? I guess I have to try harder next time.

The rest of the villagers begin to protest a little.
『其它人中傳出一些抗議聲。』
Maestro: You're trying to scare me,aren't you? I'll tell you what,we'll play a game.（rises his voice）Anybody here like playing games? Hello?！（claps）GAMETIME!
邁斯卓：你想嚇唬我是吧？我告訴你，我們要做個(gè)游戲。（提高嗓音）誰(shuí)想玩游戲啊？喂！（拍巴掌）游戲時(shí)間到了！
The kids smile.
『孩子們微笑著。』
White older brother: Yes!

Maestro: The first person who gets scared has to leave. How about that?

White woman 2: I'll go please!

Mayor: I don't play games with freaks.

Maestro: There's no need to be rude.

The Maestro snaps and points at her. She stops talking.

Mayor: Are you gonna leave,or am I gonna have to hurt you?

Maestro: You are trying to scare me,I guess I have no choice. I guess I have to scare you. Watch this！（laughs）Tell me,do you think this is scary?
邁斯卓：你在威脅我，我想我似乎是沒(méi)得選擇了。看來(lái)我要給你點(diǎn)顏色看看才行。瞧這！（笑聲）告訴我，你們認(rèn)為這可怕嗎？
He pulls a face and the kids start to laugh.

黑色 woman: Is that it?

Mayor: That's ridiculous! That's not funny.

Maestro: Ok fine,what about this one?

He pulls another face and the kids laugh again.

White mother: Is that it?

Maestro: Did that scare you?

Mayor: Did you hear what I said? Freaky boy,it's time for you to go.

Maestro：（angry voice）Is THIS scary?
邁斯卓：（生氣的聲音）“這個(gè)”嚇人嗎？
The Maestro grabs his skin by the eyes and mouth and pulls it out. The Villagers gasp and scream. He takes his chin and pulls down his jaw,the Villagers scream louder and back up.
『邁斯卓抓住自己眼睛旁邊和嘴胡亂扯開(kāi)。鎮(zhèn)民們有的倒抽一口冷氣，有的大聲尖叫。他又抓住下巴把自己的嘴拉得老長(zhǎng)，鎮(zhèn)民們叫得更大聲了，并且紛紛后退。』
黑色 kid: Wow!!
黑人男孩：哇！
The Maestro grabs his skin again and tears his whole face off,only the scull is left. He then knocks on both sides if his head,the scull breaks and his own face shows up again. The Villagers run towards the the door,but he closes it before they get a chance to escape. The 黑色 man starts to sob.
『邁斯卓抓住臉上的皮把整張臉都扯了下來(lái)，將頭骨暴露出來(lái)，然后他用力從兩旁捶自己的頭，頭骨碎裂，他又變回原來(lái)的面貌，鎮(zhèn)民們跑向門(mén)口，可大門(mén)卻在他們面前迅速關(guān)上了，黑人男子開(kāi)始哭泣。』
Maestro: Are we going somewhere? Hello?! It's too late,you're my guests！（smiles）And by the way,did I tell you I wasn't alone? Meet the family!
邁斯卓：你們要去哪？喂，太遲了！你們是我的客人！（微笑）我不是告訴你們我不是孤獨(dú)一個(gè)人嗎？和我的家人見(jiàn)見(jiàn)面吧！
Lots of ghosts appear. Maestro leads them in a humouros dance routine without 音樂(lè),which the kids enjoy,and then they start to dance to the song 2 Bad.

Halfway through the song the ghosts start to climb the walls and walk upsidedown on the roof. All the villagers except the Mayor seem to enjoy the show and have a good time.

The music stops,the Maestro rips his clothes off,turns into a skelleton and dances to the song Ghosts. The Mayor looks scared to 死亡
『音樂(lè)停下后，邁斯卓撕裂了自己的衣服，變成一個(gè)骨架，開(kāi)始跳《Is it scary》。鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)看上去快被嚇?biāo)懒恕！?/p>

The skelleton pulls the Mayor towards him and then jumps up on a shelf on the wall. He turns all the ghosts into some really scary looking - rotten - ghosts who start to mob the Mayor. Everybody gets scared.

They start to dance to 2 Bad again and the villagers seem to have fun again.

The Mayor tries to escape as the ghosts surround him. Maestro-skelleton snaps and they stop. He jumps down from the wall,spins around in the air and turns into a huge scary rotten looking version of the Maestro -SUPERGHOUL.
『鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)試圖沖出鬼怪的包圍，邁斯卓的骨架打了個(gè)響指使眾鬼停下來(lái)，然后跳下書(shū)架，在空中旋轉(zhuǎn)并逐漸變成了一個(gè)腐爛丑怪的邁斯卓——超級(jí)盜尸鬼。』
Superghoul: Are you scared yet? *hehehe*
超級(jí)盜尸鬼：你們怕了嗎？嘿嘿嘿。
The SUPERGHOUL opens the Mayor's mouth and flies into him. He posesses him. He's inside of him and he makes the Mayor dance. The Mayor tries to stop,but can't,he just keeps dancing.
『超級(jí)盜尸鬼扳開(kāi)鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)的嘴然后飛進(jìn)鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)體內(nèi)，他附到鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)身上，然后在鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)體內(nèi)操縱他跳舞，鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)想停下來(lái)卻無(wú)法自我控制，只有一直跳下去。』

The Mayor's stomach makes a lot of funny noices,and then suddenly an arm (the Superghoul's) holding a mirror pops out of 信息技術(shù) The Mayor looks at himself in the mirror,and turns into a very ugly version of himself - GHOUL MAYOR.
『鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)的腹部發(fā)出一陣怪響，突然超級(jí)盜尸鬼的一只手破肚而出，手里抓著一面鏡子。鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)看到自己在鏡中的丑惡形象－－盜尸鬼鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)。』
Ghoul Mayor: Who's scary now? Who's the freak now? Freakyboy! Freak circus freak! Who's scary? *HAHAHA* Who's weird now?
盜尸鬼鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)：誰(shuí)更嚇人？誰(shuí)是怪物？怪胎！馬戲團(tuán)的怪物！誰(shuí)更可怕？哈哈哈！誰(shuí)更古怪！？
He drops the mirror to the floor and the Superghoul flies out of his mouth again. The Mayor looks exhausted. He puts on his glasses and looks up at the Maestro (who's back to his normal self again). The Maestro smiles. He walks around the Mayor and then makes a bow.
『他把鏡子丟到地上，這時(shí)超級(jí)盜尸鬼從他嘴里飛了出來(lái)。鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)變得看上去疲憊不堪。他帶回自己的眼鏡瞧了邁斯卓一眼（邁斯卓已經(jīng)變回原型）。邁斯卓微笑著，他繞著鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)轉(zhuǎn)了一圈然后彎身鞠了一躬。』
Maestro: So,do you still want me to go?
邁斯卓：你仍然要趕我走嗎？
Mayor: Yes! yes!
鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)：是的！是的！
Maestro: Fine,I'll go.
邁斯卓：好吧，我走。
The Maestro bangs his hands and head into the floor and crumbles into dust. The wind sweeps the rest of him away. The Villagers look sad and the kids cry.
『邁斯卓突然猛地將腦袋撞在地上，漸漸變成了塵粉，一陣風(fēng)將他剩下的部分吹走了，鎮(zhèn)民們看上去非常傷心，孩子們開(kāi)始哭泣。』
Mayor: Good riddance. Let's go! Let's go!
鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)：終于除掉他了，走吧，我們走吧！
The Villagers hesitate. The kids look at the place the Maestro disappeard.
『鎮(zhèn)民們開(kāi)始猶豫。孩子們望著邁斯卓消失的地方。』
Mayor: Let's go!! I showed that freak.
鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)：我們走吧！我給了那個(gè)怪物足夠的教訓(xùn)了。
The Mayor opens the door,and the Superghoul's face peakes out of the entire door!
『鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)打開(kāi)房門(mén)，突然超級(jí)盜尸鬼的巨大面孔充填了整個(gè)門(mén)！并說(shuō)道：“HELLO！”』
The Mayor gets terrified,turns in his tracks and legs towards a closed window. He runs right through it and only leaves a pattern of his body in the window. The Maestro walks to the Villagers.
『鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)嚇得跳了起來(lái)，扭身就跑。他沖破一扇窗戶跳了出去，在窗戶上留下一個(gè)人形破洞，這時(shí)邁斯卓向鎮(zhèn)民們走來(lái)。』
Maestro: Did I scare you?
邁斯卓：我嚇著你們沒(méi)有？
Everybody starts to talk in each others mouths. They laugh and tell him their experiences. "For a minute there I thought I was gonna lose it!" blah . . blah . . blah. . .
『其他人開(kāi)始議論紛紛，他們笑著告訴邁斯卓他們的感受，“當(dāng)時(shí)以為再也見(jiàn)不到你了呢”等等等等……』
Maestro: But did we have a good time here?（big grin）Hello?!
邁斯卓：不過(guò)我們是不是度過(guò)了一段很有趣的時(shí)光呢？（狡黠的微笑）HELLO！？
Everybody: Yeah!
所有人：是的！
As the Villagers continue to talk,a shadow sneaks up behing the Maestro's back. He can't see anything,but he notices the scared looks in the Villager's eyes.
『正當(dāng)人們談?wù)摬恍輹r(shí)，一個(gè)黑影潛到邁斯卓背后，邁斯卓并沒(méi)有看到，但是他看到了鎮(zhèn)民們驚懼的眼神。』
The Maestro: What?
邁斯卓：怎么了？
One of the woman points at the shadow behind the Maestro. He slowly turns around,sees a scull face and jumps back. The mask comes off and they see that it's only a couple of the kids having fun with them.
『一個(gè)婦女指著邁斯卓背后的影子，邁斯卓緩緩轉(zhuǎn)身，看到一張骷髏臉，嚇得往后一跳。骷髏臉慢慢掉了下來(lái)，原來(lái)是兩個(gè)小孩在捉弄邁斯卓。』
White young boy: Did I scare ya?
白人小男孩：我嚇著你了嗎？
The Maestro: No. Well,maybe.. How about that? Maybe！（smiles）
邁斯卓：沒(méi)有，不過(guò)也許吧……用這個(gè)詞怎么樣？也許！（微笑）
The Maestro lifts the boy off the other boy's shoulders.
『邁斯卓把男孩從另一個(gè)男孩的肩膀上抱下來(lái)。』
Older white brother: Excuse me? Excuse me,yeah,um.. Is THIS scary?
另一個(gè)白人男孩：什么？什么？是嗎，嗯……那么“這個(gè)”可怕嗎？
The boy takes his hands to his mouth like the Maestro did earlier when he pulled his skin off.
『男孩學(xué)著邁斯卓的樣子把手放在自己嘴邊，好像要學(xué)邁斯卓把自己的皮扯掉的樣子。』
（Shot from outside the house）Everyone screams.
『（屋外傳來(lái)一聲怪叫）所有人都現(xiàn)出驚恐的表情』
