李雨生，男，同濟大學數學系教授，博士生導師。1982年獲安徽師范大學學士，1986年獲華中科技大學（現華中科技大學）碩士學位，1996年獲美國Memphis大學博士學位。曾多次訪問香港大學、香港浸會大學、臺灣研究院和福州大學。李雨生教授曾獲得國家自然科學基金面上項目和重點項目資助，以及教育部和江蘇省基金資助。2002年，他的國家自然科學基金項目被評為優秀項目，當年共有6個數學項目獲此榮譽。2003年，李雨生教授獲得教育部自然科學二等獎。他的學位論文研究領域為Ramsey函數的漸近性。
人物經歷
1982年1月至1986年8月，李雨生在安徽師范大學數學系擔任助教。1986年6月至1991年8月，他在河海大學數學系擔任講師。1996年8月至1997年8月，李雨生在美國Memphis大學擔任博士后。1997年9月至2003年8月，他在河海大學數學系擔任副教授及教授。1998年9月至1999年1月，李雨生訪問了香港大學。1999年9月至1999年12月，他訪問了香港浸會大學。2000年9月至2000年12月，他再次訪問了香港大學。2001年11月至2002年2月，他第三次訪問了香港大學。2003年9月至今，李雨生在同濟大學數學系擔任教授。2004年6月至2004年9月，他再次訪問了香港大學。2006年2月至2006年5月，他訪問了臺灣中央研究院。2007年6月至2007年9月，他第四次訪問了香港大學。2012年6月至2012年9月，他第五次訪問了香港大學。
研究方向
主要研究圖論中的極值問題，特別是Ramsey理論及極值圖的結構，以及相關領域如隨機圖論方法, 極值圖的代數構造方法。
主要貢獻
1.有結果成為 Bollobás 所著研究生教材 Modern Graph Theory（Springer）中定理（Ch6，Theorem 13）。 2.關于經典 Ramsey 上界的估計被Chung和Graham等人寫入Erdos on Graphs（p13），被說成是這方面當前最好的上界。3.部分解決了Erdos的一個猜想，他曾為此猜想懸賞500美元。論文在JCTB發表后，成為該刊當年Most downloaded articles 之一。
