廖世軍,男,漢族,1958年1月8日出生,博士,二級教授,博士生導師,國務院政府特殊津貼專家,廣東省燃料電池技術重點實驗室主任,廣東省高等學校新能源技術重點實驗室主任。華南理工大學教授,主要從事多相催化及電催化、燃料電池及相關領域的研究。

1982年學士畢業(yè)于華中師范大學黃石分院。

1988年碩士畢業(yè)于吉林大學

1999年博士畢業(yè)于華南理工大學。

2000年在南非西開普大學從事博士后研究。

2005年在加拿大卡爾加里大學訪問研究。

研究領域

廖世軍教授的研究領域涵蓋多相催化及電催化、燃料電池及相關技術,包括固體酸催化、多孔催化材料、電催化劑電化學及燃料電池催化劑、燃料電池膜電極制備技術、燃料電池極板及電堆設計、大功率燃料電池電堆的開發(fā)、煉油下游產(chǎn)物(烯烴)的高效利用等。

主持和完成各類科研項目30 項;其中省級以上科研項目10 項、2.重大項目1 項;省部級科技獎勵4項;其中排名第一獲教育部高等學校自然科學二等獎1項,科技進步二等獎1項;3.省級鑒定成果3項;申請專利21項,獲授權9項,申請美國專利2項;4.發(fā)表論文213篇,其中影響因子大于2.0的論文40篇;H因子等于10,在JACS發(fā)表論文2篇,單篇最高引用次數(shù)達到115次。先后有4篇文章被化學 World, Nature China, Nature Asia, Nature Materials 選為Highligt文章加以評介。5.參編出版編著2 本, 其中1 本在國際著名出版社SPRINGER 出版社出版。6.在國內率先開展羧酸烯烴直接化合成羧酸酯研究和工業(yè)化實踐,已在全國形成年產(chǎn)100萬噸規(guī)模的乙酸異丙酯、乙酸仲丁酯生產(chǎn)規(guī)模;2007年,該技術獲教育部科技進步二等獎。7.主持完成的廣東省重大科技項目-300KW 燃料電池電站的開發(fā)研究,建成了全球最大的質子交換膜燃料電池電站,國內外數(shù)十家媒體給予了報道宣傳。

科技獎勵

廖世軍教授在科研領域取得了顯著成就,獲得多項科技獎勵,包括質子交換膜燃料電池的應用基礎研究教育部高等學校自然科學二等獎(2010年,排名第一)、乙酸/丙烯直接酯化合成乙酸異丙酯合成新工藝及催化劑教育部高等學校科技進步二等獎(2007年,排名第一)等。
