楊震，1992年從香港中文大學博士畢業，先后成為國家杰出青年基金獲得者，早期在Scripps研究所完成抗癌藥紫杉醇等的首次全合成，文章發表在《自然》雜志。
現任北京大學深圳研究生院常務副院長、化學生物學與生物技術學院教授。

楊震一直致力于具有重要生物活性的復雜天然產物全合成，共完成近20個天然產物分子全合成，其中一半以上系國際首例合成，以第一作者和通訊作者發表SCI論文160多篇。
