夏北成，男，博士，中山大學環境科學與工程學院教授、博士生導師。

教育經歷
?1978年2月-1982年1月湖南農業大學學習，獲得學士；
?1982年-1984年獲得北京大學理學碩士學位；
?1986年-1989年獲得北京大學理學博士學位；
?1989年-1991年中山大學博士后流動站從事博士后研究工作。
工作經歷
?1984-1986長沙市環境保護研究所；
?1991-至今在中山大學環境科學研究所及環境科學系從事環境科學的教學與研究工作，任副教授、教授（博士生導師）；
?1995.10-1997.5密歇根州立大學微生物生態中心訪問研究；
?1998.8-1999.8美國密西根州立大學微生物生態中心訪問研究講授課程《污染生態學》、《環境生物學》、《生態學》。

近年來主持和參加的研究項目有國家科技重大專項水專項東江項目（東江水生態系統健康監測維持技術研究與應用示范）、國家高技術研究發展計劃（863計劃）項目（灘涂海水種植養殖系統技術研究）、國家自然科學基金研究項目、廣東省自然科學基金研究項目、國家教委（教育部）研究基金、廣東省有關部門及地方政府的資助項目等。
