劉合林，男，博士，教授，博士生導師，主要研究領域包括城市經濟、城市文化、城市空間與城市復雜系統、城市規劃決策支持技術以及低碳經濟與低碳規劃。代表著作有《城市文化空間解讀與利用——構建文化城市的新路徑》。
人物經歷
2001-2006年就讀于南京大學地理學院，學習城市規劃與設計專業，2006年獲工學學士。
2006-2009年，就讀于南京大學地理學院城市與區域規劃系，研究方向主要為城市文化與城市文化戰略，2009年獲工學碩士。
2009-2013年，英國劍橋大學攻讀博士學位。主要研究城市文化經濟與城市空間的復雜互動系統。
2013-2015年，英國劍橋大學博士后副研究員（Research Associate），主要研究國際碳交易網絡與博弈。
2015-2016年，華中科技大學建筑與城市規劃學院，副教授。
2016年起，華中科技大學建筑與城市規劃學院，教授，博導。
