紅肩鋸粉蝶（學(xué)名：Prioneris clemanthe，英文俗名：紅色spot Sawtooth），又名紅基鋸緣粉蝶，是粉蝶科鋸粉蝶屬的一種鳳蝶總科。主要分布于中國(guó)的海南省、廣西壯族自治區(qū)、云南省、廣東省、香港特別行政區(qū)，以及印度、緬甸、泰國(guó)、越南、馬來(lái)西亞、印度尼西亞等地，模式產(chǎn)地為印度北部。一年兩代，成蟲(chóng)多見(jiàn)于夏季，棲息于森林邊緣，在溪邊和開(kāi)闊地方快速飛行，會(huì)訪花和吸水。其美國(guó)白燈蛾以白花菜科中的魚(yú)木屬和山柑屬植物為寄主。
形態(tài)特征
紅肩鋸粉蝶是中大型粉蝶。翅面黃色，緣毛桃紅色；前翅外緣寬的黑邊中有幾個(gè)黃色斑，中室端部有一個(gè)黑斑；后翅外緣的黑色斑多連接成列，翅背銀白色，且有淺褐色圓圈。成蟲(chóng)體長(zhǎng)15—23毫米，翅展45—58毫米，雄成蟲(chóng)翅鮮黃色或橙黃色，前翅外緣1/3部分呈黑色，黑色區(qū)有數(shù)個(gè)大小不等的黃色斑。雌成蟲(chóng)有黃、白二種色型。
亞種
紅肩鋸粉蝶的亞種有：
P. c. clemanthe 指名亞種。
P. c. euclemanthe 海南省亞種 Fruhstorfer, 1903 分布于海南至廣東省一帶。
