許政，男，教授，1945年12月生，籍貫浙江省海寧市。上海大學生命學院教授、博士生導師、上海市能源作物培育與應用重點實驗室顧問。
人物簡歷
1968年12月本科畢業(yè)于復旦大學生物系生物化學與微生物專業(yè)，1980年6月研究生結業(yè)于復旦大學生物系植物生理專業(yè)，
1983年5月碩士畢業(yè)于美國肯塔基州立大學植物病理系植物抗病專業(yè)，
1985年10月博士畢業(yè)于美國肯塔基州立大學植物病理系植物病毒專業(yè)。
1985年10月至1988年12月在美國新澤西州羅氏分子生物學研究所博士后從事植物分子病毒學研究；
1989年5月至1990年10月在中國科學院上海植物生理研究所博士后期間從事植物病毒基因工程研究。
1990年10月任中國科學院上海植物生理研究所研究員，1995年任博士生導師。
1991年以來作為訪問學者、科研合作者、國家科委、中國科學院、上海科技代表團成員多次訪問美國、英國、法國、日本、意大利、韓國、新加坡、中國香港等地研究所、大學、政府從事合作研究和訪問。
社會兼職
曾任中國科學院上海植物生理研究所所長助理、副所長，中國科學院上海植物生理生態(tài)研究所所長，中國科學院上海生命科學研究院副院長職務、植物分子遺傳國家重點實驗室副主任和主任、上海大學生命科學學院院長、中國植物生理學會副理事長和理事長、兼任上海交通大學生物科學與技術學院副院長等職務?，F(xiàn)任上海大學生命學院教授、博士生導師、上海市能源作物培育與應用重點實驗室顧問。
他是中國植物生理學會、中國生物工程學會、中國微生物學會、中國藻類學會、中國細胞生物學會理事、上海生物工程學會常務理事、上海煙草學會副理事長，全國政協(xié)委員、九三學社中央委員、上海市委委員、上海市特約檢察員。
2012.1.15辭去政協(xié)上海市第十一屆委員會常務委員。

研究方向
（1）植物病毒病理學。以煙草和重組煙草花葉病毒為獨特的研究系統(tǒng)，研究植物與病毒相互作用的分子機理；（2）植物逆境生理學。以鹽藻為研究材料，借助功能基因組學等最新的研究手段，研究植物對逆境抗性的分子機理；（3）能源微生物的研究。
