王毅，男，大連理工大學數學科學學院教授、博士生導師，畢業于大連理工大學。1979年考入大連工學院應用數學系，后師從徐利治先生獲得博士學位，研究方向為組合數學。主要研究興趣包括組合計數、偏序集上的組合極值理論、圖論和組合數論。在組合不等式的研究中做出了一些有影響的工作，多項研究成果以定理形式出現在國外多部專著中。主持過多項國家和省部級基金項目。現任大連理工大學數學一級學科博士點點長、中國數學會組合數學與圖論專業委員會常務委員、中國運籌學會圖論組合分會常務理事和副理事長、中國工業與應用數學學會圖論組合及應用專業委員會常務委員和副主任。
