廖蕾,男,1981年10月出生,畢業于武漢大學物理學院,研究生學歷,現任湖南大學物理與微電子科學學院副院長,微納光電器件與應用教育部重點實驗室主任,教授,博士生導師。

研究領域
博士期間,從事一維過渡族金屬氧化物納米線和碳納米管等材料物性研究和器件研制方面的研究,研制單根納米線場效應晶體管、鐵電儲存器和氣體傳感器。博士后期間主要從事石墨烯高速晶體管的研發。現主要從事高性能電子器件的研究。
