Lizz Wright，美國佐治亞州人，1980年1月22日出生，爵士樂、R&B歌手及音樂創作人，藍調、福音、靈魂樂唱法也擅長，主要作品有《Dreaming Wide Awake》、《Fellowship》等。

Lizz 生長于Hahira 的一個小鎮Georgia，自小的音樂訓練受到在教堂當琴師的父親的影響，早期唱贊美詩 (hymns)，后來爵士樂和藍調 (Blues) 進入她的音樂生命，高中時在各種歌唱比賽中獲獎無數，後來進入進入在亞特蘭大的佐治亞州大學學習唱歌，2000年她加盟Atlanta城的四人合唱團"In the Spirit"，轉眼間走紅成為Atlanta 城最佳爵士樂組合。如今住在北卡。

聽眾評價
Lizz Wright 是爵士樂界一個陌生的名字，2002年Verve 與她簽約，2003年推出她的首張個人唱片。 Lizz 雖然只有二十三歲，但卻擁有一把成熟撩人的聲線，筆者覺得有點像Rock diva Annie Lennox，唱腔受到gospel, R&B 的影響，接近rock 女歌手Oleta Adams 及 Jill Scott 的風格。
