霍德明（1955年10月3日—2019年6月1日），祖籍陜西省，1977年畢業于臺灣大學經濟學系。后留學美國羅切斯特大學，1985年取得博士學位。曾任北京大學國家發展研究院（原中國經濟研究中心）教授。2019年6月1日21時30分，霍德明在北京逝世，享年64歲。
人物經歷
1977年畢業于臺灣大學經濟學系。后留學美國羅切斯特大學，1985年取得博士學位。先后任教于東北大學與加州大學圣塔芭芭拉分校經濟學系，之后回到臺灣省，任教于臺灣政治大學金融系，曾任系主任。
1998年，霍德明到中國大陸的大學擔任客座教授與訪問學者。
2005年2月，至北京大學中國經濟研究中心擔任訪問學者。
2006年，霍德明舉家遷至北京，擔任北京大學國家發展研究院（原中國經濟研究中心）教授。同時兼任臺灣政治大學教授、中華金融學會秘書長、臺灣“中央存款”保險公司咨詢委員、臺灣金融研訓院咨詢顧問等職。
