鳳麟洲出自漢東方朔撰的《十洲記》（全稱《海內十洲記》）《十洲記》記載劉徹聽王母娘娘說大海中有祖洲﹑瀛洲﹑玄洲﹑炎洲﹑長洲﹑元洲﹑流洲﹑生洲﹑鳳麟洲﹑聚窟洲等十洲﹐便召見東方朔問十洲所有的異物﹐后附滄海島﹑方丈洲﹑扶桑﹑蓬丘﹑昆侖五條。位于圓明園內。

介紹
位于綺春園東湖之中，原為愛新覺羅·颙琰帝新建景群，1807年（嘉慶十二年）始見詩詠，被譽為“南園避暑最佳處”。南園即指綺春園。本景名取自古代神話傳說海內十洲之一“鳳麟洲”。由大小二島組成，上建殿宇亭，南設碼頭。嘉慶、愛新覺羅·旻寧、咸豐三帝均喜至此游賞。

Located in the East Lake of Qichunyuan,this vista was added on the order of Emperor Jiaqing. Its earliest written reference is found in the emperor's poems composed in 1807,which praised it as "the ideal summer spot in Qichun-yuan." The vista was named after a fabled island in ancient Chinese myth.* With halls,rooms,and pavilions elegantly arranged on the two islands and a dock to the south,it became a favorite spot frequented by emperors Jiaqing,Daoguang,and xianfeng.
