Starfield is a multiple Covenant Award winning Christian music worship group from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Starfield was originally formed by two brothers, Tim and Jon Neufeld both from Winnipeg. Since then Shaun Huberts and Gordie Cochran both of 宋茜, British Colombia have joined the band. Prior to Gordie, Johnny 5 was the drummer until he left around 2004. Shaun Huberts left the band Aug. 9th 2006, after his last 表演 at the DCLA Convention in Anaheim, CA. His replacement is Dave Crisp. The band moved back to Canada (Abbotsford, British Colombia) in the fall of 2006 after several years of living in Nashville. Their first album, “Starfield” (2004, Sparrow Records), contained the hit “Filled With Your Glory”, it was released in 2001 by independent Starfield 音樂 Group (Canada Only) . They have toured across North America, including appearances at Creation Fest East West 2005.
Starfield has won awards such as GMA Canada Covenant Awards 2006 and 2007: Group Of The Year.
On June 14th 2008, Starfield played for 30.000 teens at the EO-Youth Day in the Netherlands
