周國富，男，荷蘭國籍，華南師范大學全職教授、博士生導師，華南先進光電子研究院院長，廣東省省第二批“珠江人才計劃”引進領軍人才，“廣東特支計劃”杰出人才，原荷蘭飛利浦首席科學家，世界“雙一流”建設學科-物理學帶頭人，國家國際科技合作基地“綠色光電子國際聯合廣東海洋大學WTO研究中心”主任，國家高等學校學科創新111引智基地負責人，教育部光信息國際合作聯合實驗室主任，教育部“類紙顯示技術創新團隊”帶頭人，國家重點研發計劃專項項目首席科學家，光電顯示材料與技術領域著名專家。
個人簡介
1989年6月畢業于中國科學研究院金屬研究所，獲碩士學位；
1991年6月畢業于中國科學研究院，獲博士學位（博士論文題目：Mechanically induced structural and magnetic changes in intermetallic compounds）；
1994年11月畢業于荷蘭阿姆斯特丹大學，獲博士學位；
1995年2月畢業于英國劍橋大學，獲博士后；
1995年3月～2004年6月擔任荷蘭飛利浦研究院高級科學家；
2004年4月至今，擔任荷蘭飛利浦研究院首席科學家；
2005年5月～2010年9月在IREX/IRX科技有限公司任首席技術官兼全球副總裁；2012年1月至今，在華南師范大學工作。

人物評價
周國富先生是一個嚴肅熱情，做事果斷的學者。本人與周國富先生目前只有一面之緣，況且本人還是個大學沒畢業的晚輩，不敢妄加評價，以上是我對周國富先生的自我感覺，第一次見面我就被他強勁的氣勢壓倒了，交談時心里很是膽怯，當時我只知道他是一名研究生導師。
