M. Ward，男，出生于加利福尼亞州是一名歌手，吉他手。

人物生平
1999年，他的首個(gè)專(zhuān)輯 Duet for Guitars #2, 由 Howe Gelb出品。01年他發(fā)行了自己的專(zhuān)輯End of Amnesia，出品方是Future Farmer Records。他參與過(guò)許多樂(lè)隊(duì)專(zhuān)輯和單曲的錄制，編曲，如Cat Power, Neko CASE, Beth Orton, The Court & Spark, Bright Eyes, Jenny Lewis , and My Morning Jacket.
2005年，他參與了Burtch, Lytle 和 Fairchild 組織的一個(gè)項(xiàng)目 Arizona Amp and Alternator。
2006年，參與制作了向 John Fahey 致敬的專(zhuān)輯 I Am the Resurrection，還貢獻(xiàn)了一首單曲，Norah Jones的專(zhuān)輯 Not Too Late 里也有他的聲音。新西蘭電影 Eagle vs Shark 還收錄了他翻唱的 David Bowie的歌曲 "Let's Dance" 作為插曲。
06年他出版了專(zhuān)輯 Post-War，初次遇見(jiàn)女演員 Zooey Deschanel, 并合作了一首二重唱。后來(lái)他們組建了INDIE POP樂(lè)隊(duì)：She & Him 。他們的首張專(zhuān)輯取名為 Volume One，由沃德?lián)沃谱魅耍琈erge Records 出品，發(fā)行于2008年3月18日。之后他們還陸續(xù)出版了Volume Two 和一張圣誕節(jié)專(zhuān)輯，在業(yè)內(nèi)反響都不錯(cuò)。他和Deschanel擔(dān)任了第九屆獨(dú)立音樂(lè)獎(jiǎng)的評(píng)委 Independent 音樂(lè) Awards. 2009年，他還發(fā)行了自己第六張個(gè)人專(zhuān)輯 Hold 時(shí)間。
沃德還曾是樂(lè)隊(duì) Rodriguez 的一員，他們的作品有wing Like a Metronome。他的另一個(gè)樂(lè)隊(duì) Monsters of 民俗音樂(lè), 也出版了同名專(zhuān)輯。
