王克雄，男，1963年12月出生于湖北黃梅縣。1998年和2005年分別獲得中國科學院水生生物研究所水生生物專業(yè)碩士和博士學位。現任中國科學院水生生物研究所研究員，專注于鯨目行為生態(tài)學、生物聲學和保護生物學的研究。
研究方向
王克雄的研究領域涵蓋水生哺乳動物的生物聲學、行為生態(tài)學以及保護生物學。他特別關注鯨類的聲學特征、行為發(fā)展及其對環(huán)境的適應，以及鯨類資源的保護。
主持項目
王克雄研究員主持了多項重要研究項目，包括中國科學院院長基金項目、國家自然科學基金面上項目、海洋公園保育基金項目、工程建設環(huán)境影響評價專題項目等。目前，他正主持三峽工程公司簽約項目，并計劃開展對江豚、中華白海豚的聲學觀察、行為發(fā)展、行為適應以及噪聲影響等方面的研究。
所獲榮譽
王克雄參與的“長江江豚遷地保護”項目（與王丁、張先鋒等15位完成人合作）在2008年榮獲湖北省科學技術進步獎一等獎。他與王丁合著的《遠逝的長江女神》（江蘇科學技術出版社出版）獲得了“中華讀書報”百佳和科技部全國優(yōu)秀科普作品的榮譽。
