林宗利，1964年出生于福清市，現為美籍華裔控制論專家。他在弗吉尼亞大學擔任電機與計算機系教授，主要研究領域為非線性控制理論和控制理論應用。林宗利是IEEE Fellow，并曾獲得美國海軍研究總署青年科學家獎。
教育背景
林宗利在1983年獲得廈門大學學士，1989年在航天部502所獲得碩士學位，1994年在美國華盛頓州立大學獲得博士學位。
