創(chuàng)作背景
《Lighters》最初由Royce da 5'9"一個人完成，還準備收錄在他的個人專輯《Success Is Certain》中。Royce da 5'9"把歌曲的伴奏寄給Eminem后，埃米納姆靈感大發(fā)并希望由自己來完成第一段的主歌部分。埃米納姆和Royce da 5'9"重組為Bad Meets Evil后，飛往了洛杉磯，并拜訪了布魯諾·馬爾斯并與其合作。歌曲的錄制在密歇根弗恩代爾的Effigy工作室、洛杉磯的Isolation和Levcon工作室三個地方完成。

《Lighters》是一首另類嘻哈歌曲，還帶有電子音樂流行和靈魂音樂的色彩，歌曲的音調(diào)以C大調(diào)為主，擁有每分鐘93次的適度節(jié)拍，布魯諾·馬爾斯的音域控制在C4到C5之間。布魯諾·馬爾斯為歌曲演唱副歌，頓時讓一首硬核說唱顯出柔情一面。歌曲里埃米納姆的戲份并不濃重，唯獨布魯諾·瑪斯的助唱成為亮點，當毒舌不再以罵人過癮為目的，就是抒情動情的開始。
歌曲MV
《Lighters》的音樂錄影帶從2011年7月20日在洛杉磯開始拍攝，由瑞奇·李指導，休·杰克曼在MV友情客串，于2011年8月22日在VEVO上發(fā)布。
MV開頭，布魯諾·馬爾斯坐在鋼琴前演唱《Lighters》，而埃米納姆則在一個凌亂的客廳的長椅上躺著。隨后，埃米納姆拿著筆記本開始說唱，之后，他在房間地板上發(fā)現(xiàn)一個活門，他從活門下去。于是他開始在閃著紅色燈光的地下隧道里說唱。Royce da 5'9"則在一個囚房里出現(xiàn)，他打開囚門也進入了這個隧道。MV最后，所有人出現(xiàn)在洛杉磯后山上，若干個孔明燈緩緩升天。
