張向東,男,畢業(yè)于中國科學(xué)院物理研究所博士學(xué)位,任北京理工大學(xué)物理學(xué)院教授。

多年來一直致力于光子晶體和低維納米結(jié)構(gòu)的物理特性及其應(yīng)用研究,并作出了多項(xiàng)創(chuàng)新成果。
主要貢獻(xiàn)
首次在光子準(zhǔn)晶中觀察到了負(fù)折射現(xiàn)象,并在國際上率先利用二維光子晶體超棱鏡實(shí)現(xiàn)了對兩種極化波的同時聚集成像。通過嚴(yán)格數(shù)值模擬首先在聲子晶體中觀察到負(fù)折射現(xiàn)象,并發(fā)現(xiàn)了自旋子的負(fù)折射。在無序動力學(xué)中率先從理論上揭示出準(zhǔn)一維到三維的動力學(xué)交叉行為,后被實(shí)驗(yàn)所證實(shí)。發(fā)展出了在強(qiáng)局域化中分析弱局域化的統(tǒng)一理論。提出了利用帶邊場"工程"光子帶隙的辦法,并被實(shí)驗(yàn)證實(shí)。在12重準(zhǔn)晶中發(fā)現(xiàn)了大的絕對光子帶隙,率先在鐵磁藕合雙結(jié)中發(fā)現(xiàn)超過90%的巨隧穿磁電阻。已在國內(nèi)外核心期刊上發(fā)表論文60余篇,其中有34篇發(fā)表在Phys.Rev.Lett、Appl.Phys.Lett.和Phys.Rev.三個期刊上。論文被SCI引用近500次,其中被他人引用超過350次,單篇他人最高引用達(dá)到100次。
