陳萬平,男,1966年2月14日出生于湖北安陸,1998年畢業于清華大學材料科學與工程系。

研究興趣項目為壓敏材料,鐵電壓電材料,高溫超導材料,電子陶瓷元器件的可靠性。

1998年6月—2001年5月擔任東北大學金屬材料研究所研究員;研究方向:強磁場中新物質的創制。

2001年6月—2004年11月擔任香港理工大學應用物理系研究員;研究方向:電子陶瓷元器件可靠性的研究。

2004年11月至今擔任武漢大學物理科學與技術學院教授,博士生導師。
