幕后制作
影片玩弄了現實與幻想的交錯，令人難以分辨究竟哪是現實哪是夢境。恐怖的氣氛籠罩全片，似乎在懸疑設置上有阿爾弗雷德·希區柯克的影子，但又不失黑色幽默的調子，超現實的幻想場景是最大的看點。導演米勒的表現也不俗，在滲透出一股不寒而栗的恐怖氣氛外，還有一種望而生畏的懾人張力。

劇情簡介
這部具有靈異色彩的電影由Claude Miller根據Emmanuel Carrer在1995年的小說拍攝。詳細講述了一個在精神上有些問題的男孩在假期露營是所受到的煎熬。
在送年輕的男孩 Nicolas 去學校滑雪旅行的路上，他的父親由于近來發生的一場汽車交通事故很是擔心他兒子的安全。盡管同意Nicolas去參加，父親還是選擇了自己駕車送兒子去營地，然而這更加提升了男孩的煩躁情緒。在遙遠的露營地，男孩忘記了從父親的車上取下行囊。但是一名調皮的學生，Hodkann把自己的睡袋借給了Nicolas，兩人成為了朋友。
影片著力從Nicolas的視角描述他的夢，以及在夢魘中出現的Hodkann和他的父親。夢魘帶著他越走越遠，最后一切都真相大白并且更加令人震驚。
一個男孩準備在小心翼翼的父親的陪同下，前往學校組織的la classe de neige。顯然這個男孩是在父母精心呵護下長大的，敏感，脆弱，自閉，想象，能成功地將自己與現實世界隔絕開來，不斷地生發并渲染自己的意想世界。
孩子天生是具有初生牛犢不畏虎的勇氣，以抵消孩童時代所不具有的戒備；可往往精心的父母極易將成人建構的安全方案絲毫不漏地實施到孩童的身上。他身體安全，可心靈不安全。每當他緊張之時，便溺床。而且，便退縮到他自己的那個意想的豐富世界中去。
