鄒永魁，出生于山東萊州，是吉林大學的畢業生和博士后。他在畢業后留校任教，主要研究領域為常微分方程數值解理論及其應用。目前，他是吉林大學數學學院的副院長，已發表論文20余篇。2006年，他獲得了教育部新世紀人才計劃獎勵。

主要從事常微分方程數值解理論及其應用方面的研究。主持和參加了多項教學和科研項目，于國內外學術刊物發表論20余篇。現指導博士研究生4人，碩士研究生20人(畢業12人，在讀8人).
