葛斯琴，1974年4月出生，2002年在中國科學院動物研究所獲得博士學位，現任副研究員。研究方向為鞘翅目形態與系統學。
學習經歷
1992年9月～1996年7月，內蒙古師范大學生物系，獲生物學學士；
1996年9月～1999年7月，華中農業大學，獲昆蟲學碩士學位；
1999年9月～2002年7月，中國科學院動物研究所，獲動物界博士學位。
工作經歷
2002年7月～2006年3月，中國科學院動物研究所，助理研究員；
2006年4月～至今，中國科學院動物研究所，副研究員；
2004年6月～2004年12月，倫敦自然史博物館（Natural History Museum, 倫敦），訪問學者；其間順訪意大利都靈自然歷史博物館（Italy, Torino, Museo Regionale di Scienze Naturali, 2004年10月14日～11月1日）；
2006年1月～2007年1月，德國耶拿大學動物進化研究所，博士后；其間順訪意大利維羅那自然歷史博物館（2006年8月5日~2006年8月30日）；德國慕尼黑自然歷史博物館Russia, St. Petersburg, Russian Academy of Sciences, Zoological Institute，愛爾福特自然歷史博物館（Germany, Erfurt, Naturkundesmuseum, 2006年10月23日～11月4日）；法國自然歷史博物館（2006年12月3日～12月24日）；主要從事鞘翅目形態學及系統學研究工作；
2007年9月13日～10月5日，俄羅斯圣彼得堡俄羅斯動物所(Russia, St. Petersburg, Russian Academy of Sciences, Zoological Institute)，訪問學者。
研究領域
1. 甲蟲高級階元的系統演化關系探討：從不同時段（古生和現生）、不同發育階段（卵、幼蟲、蛹和成蟲）探討甲蟲高級階元的系統演化關系，以傳統光鏡、掃描電鏡、透射電鏡、激光共聚焦顯微鏡、顯微CT和計算機三維重建等研究手段，通過獲得大量的形態學數據，并與分子數據相結合，建立合乎自然演化規律的系統關系；
2. 鞘翅目金花蟲科葉甲亞科、跳甲亞科的系統學研究：世界范圍內的葉甲亞科的種類修訂，屬級階元的系統關系，起源與演化探討；中國跳甲亞科的種類修訂、屬征的確定、族級階元的確立；
3. 功能形態學研究：以傳統光鏡、掃描電鏡、透射電鏡、激光共聚焦顯微鏡、顯微CT和計算機三維重建等研究手段，通過對昆蟲相關結構的形態及其功能研究，探討進化規律及在仿生學領域中的應用。
