王新兵，上海交通大學(xué)教授，博士生導(dǎo)師。 ACM中國理事會副主席，上海交通大學(xué)特聘教授，電子信息與電氣工程學(xué)院副院長，上海交通大學(xué)John Hopcroft計(jì)算機(jī)科學(xué)中心執(zhí)行主任。
人物經(jīng)歷
王新兵，2013-2016年擔(dān)任電子信息與電氣工程學(xué)院院長助理。2011年-2013年擔(dān)任上海交通大學(xué)電子工程系副系主任。上海交通大學(xué)John Hopcroft計(jì)算機(jī)科學(xué)中心執(zhí)行主任。
1994-1998，學(xué)士：上海交通大學(xué)，自動化系（優(yōu)秀畢業(yè)生）
1998-2001，碩士：清華大學(xué)，計(jì)算機(jī)科學(xué)與技術(shù)系
2001-2006，博士：美國北卡羅來納州立大學(xué)，主修計(jì)算機(jī)工程，輔修數(shù)學(xué)
2006年由上海交通大學(xué)引進(jìn)。2009年獲得IEEE通信學(xué)會亞太區(qū)杰出青年研究獎(jiǎng)（IEEE ComSoc Asia-Pacific Outstanding Young Researcher Award 2009）。長期以來從事無線網(wǎng)絡(luò)編碼，認(rèn)知無線電的研究。
2007年于國外出版英文專著《Wired and Wireless Networks: A Transport Layer Perspective》（VDM Verlag Publisher, ISBN: 978-3-8364-2772-2）。在IEEE雜志和會議等發(fā)表論文60余篇，申請專利10余項(xiàng)。承擔(dān)國家自然科學(xué)基金、重點(diǎn)，科技部國際合作基金，教育部博士點(diǎn)、回國留學(xué)人員基金，上海市浦江人才、科技創(chuàng)新重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目等10余項(xiàng)。曾獲IEEE IPCCC“最佳論文獎(jiǎng)”。
曾在多個(gè)著名國際會議、期刊上發(fā)布論文，包括：網(wǎng)絡(luò)研究的知名國際會議ACM MobiCom 2009，ACM MobiHoc 2009、2008，IEEE INFOCOM 2005；無線通信網(wǎng)絡(luò)的國際核心期刊如IEEE Trans on Networking 2008，IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing 2009，IEEE Trans on Wireless Communications 2009、2008、2007。
同時(shí)擔(dān)任多個(gè)國內(nèi)外雜志、中國計(jì)算機(jī)學(xué)會（中國計(jì)算機(jī)學(xué)會夏培肅獎(jiǎng)）A類期刊IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing，ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks的編委。
發(fā)表網(wǎng)絡(luò)研究的A類國際會議ACM MobiCOM 2012、2009,2014, 2015, IEEE INFOCOM 2014，2015，2016，2017等20余篇, IEEE匯刊長文(regular paper)50余篇，其中無線網(wǎng)絡(luò)的A類國際期刊如IEEE/ACM Trans on Networking, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing，IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed System等20余篇。申請國家專利30余項(xiàng)（其中美國專利1項(xiàng))，授權(quán)15項(xiàng)。
谷歌 Scholar引用統(tǒng)計(jì)超過4500次，H-index 36，入選愛思唯爾（ELSEVIER）發(fā)布的2014、2015、2016、2017中國高被引學(xué)者榜單。
2015年出版教材《移動互聯(lián)網(wǎng)導(dǎo)論》。
2017年出版《移動互聯(lián)網(wǎng)導(dǎo)論》第二版。
2019年出版《移動互聯(lián)網(wǎng)導(dǎo)論》第三版。
