說起這首《Without You》的歌曲也確實夠具傳奇色彩的，就在這首歌因為Harry Nilsson翻唱成熱門金曲之后的沒多久，作者Pete Ham就于1975年自殺身亡，而八年之后另一位作者Tom Evans居然也走上了同樣的不歸路。更為神奇的是在1994年1月15日，當歌手Mariah Carey再度翻唱這首經典歌曲時，Harry Nilsson卻在睡夢中過世，Mariah Carey的《Without You》剛好登陸英國榜成為冠軍，成為她的傳世經典作品之一。
