《殺戮時刻》是喬·舒馬赫執導的驚悚犯罪片，桑德拉·布洛克、塞繆爾·杰克遜、馬修·麥康納主演，于1996年上映。

劇情簡介
黑人工人卡爾（塞繆爾?杰克遜 Samuel L. Jackson 飾）十歲的女兒被兩個白人蹂躪了，在那種族歧視盛行的歲月，卡爾不相信法律能幫他和女兒討回公道。于是，他徑自找到了那個家伙并將他們射殺。復仇后的卡爾直接來到了警察局投案自首。
年輕律師杰克（馬修?麥康納 Matthew McConaughey 飾）被指派為卡爾的辯護律師，由于卡爾根本不相信法律會對黑人公正，所以他和杰克沒有達成一致。果然，庭上卡爾收到了不公正的對待。法律系那大學生艾倫桑德拉?布洛克 Sandra Bullock 飾）這時出現了，她站在杰克這一邊，決定為卡爾做無罪辯護。
雖然杰克獲得了支持，但他的生活卻受到了極大的威脅：當地的三K黨用盡各種方法要挾杰克，甚至威脅要炸毀他的房子！卡爾看到了杰克和其他人的努力，他決定和眾人團結一致，為公義而戰。
幕后制作
本片改編自約翰·格里森姆第一部小說，主題是種族歧視、司法公正等，跟《殺死一只知更鳥》相似。
