強調結構（Emphatic Structure），是指在句子當中，有時為了突出句子的某些成分以加強語氣，增強情感色彩或加強對比，需要改變句子結構的結構。
基本概況
Do(does/did)+原形動詞表強調
此種結構來強調謂語動詞，往往只用于一般現在時或一般過去時的肯定句或肯定結構的祈使句。不適用于"be"動詞。
She does know the place well.
The children do hope to go to college.
She did come yesterday.
Do come and visit us!
Do shut up!
Do be careful!
It is/was ... that(who)結構表強調
It is/was ... that(who)結構表強調是，謂語動詞不能做強調成分。這種結構通常用來強調主語，也被稱為分裂句。
It was I who killed the beast.
What sb/sth ... is/was ...結構表強調
這種結構往往用來強調動作，也是一種分裂句的形式。
e.g.
What he wants to do is (to) leave her.
