劇情介紹
冬天一場學校交通車的意外事故，使得Sam Dent小鎮上的父母們失去了他們的孩子，正在悲傷的時刻，一位紐約的律師Stephens來到了小鎮，開始說服父母們聯合起來打一場官司，控告那看不見的罪魁禍首。他的目的是錢以外的東西，但他很快地就發現這些失子的父母跟他一樣地不單純……在訪查的過程中，平靜小鎮之下一些不為人知的一面逐漸顯露出來，而這些真相將會使小鎮分崩離析。人們要如何從這場傷痛之中重新站起來，重新掌握未來的春天呢？

故事來源
影片講述加拿大一個小鎮的一段悲傷經歷。有一天女司機德里斯科爾開的汽車掉入冰湖，車上14個學生死亡。本鎮律師斯蒂芬斯聯合死亡學生的家長開始了對汽車公司的漫長官司。加拿大著名導演艾頓·伊戈揚編導的一部悲劇片，改編自拉塞爾班克斯同名小說。影片著重心理刻畫，表演精湛。
