所謂“空氣吉他（Air Guitar）”，就是一些吉他愛好者跟隨吉他樂曲，用夸張的動作配合強勁的音樂，在空氣中虛擬彈奏吉他。這種表演形式自上世紀70年代在年輕人中間流行，最初他們手握網球拍，模仿偶像彈唱古典搖滾。
