薛虹，北京師范大學法學院教授、法學博士、博士生導師。北京師范大學法學院互聯網政策與法律研究中心主任。曾獲得中國法學會第四屆“全國十大杰出青年法學家”稱號。擔任國際知識產權教學研究促進會亞洲地區唯一執委、《世界知識產權》學術期刊唯一亞洲編委，世界知識產權組織域名爭端解決程序專家、全球知識產權改革研究院中國負責人，國際互聯網管理機構總裁咨詢委員會委員，亞太互聯網用戶組織的創始人之一。耶魯法學院信息社會項目客座研究員。主要研究領域為知識產權法、信息技術法、互聯網法律與政策等。
人物經歷
在香港大學任教多年，榮獲香港大學杰出青年研究獎，作為指導教師帶領香港大學代表隊奪得首屆亞洲模擬法庭大賽冠軍。出訪四十多個國家和地區，與二十多個全球知名的大學、研究機構和國際組織定期進行學術交流。有多部中、英文專著在國內外出版。
主要貢獻
她于1999年、2000年、2002年、2003年分別出版了中、英文專著各兩部。其中的《網絡時代的知識產權法》一書，代表了國內網絡知識產權研究的前沿水平，在國內被廣泛引用。其英文專著，在國外也有一定的影響。多年來她在各種法學類專業雜志發表論文多篇，如：《納入版權保護體系的網絡傳輸》、《著作權技術措施的法律保護》、《數字化出版及著作權法律問題》、《網絡服務提供者的版權侵權責任》等，在知識產權法律領域，產生一定的影響。其對網絡服務商進行法律規范的建議、對數字環境下技術措施保護及權利限制的建議，均被有關機關采納。其研究特點是，對策性研究較多，研究成果能夠被國內主管機關應用或參考。
