伊麗莎白是一位長期關在哥倫比亞的女孩。她很聰明，把多數時間花在了研究地理、醫學和物理等各種學科上，同時以密碼學和開鎖的形式獲得許多實用技巧。她有感知并操控在哥倫比亞各處的空間裂境的能力。她在被切掉的小指尖上戴了個頂針，雖然她不記得這是怎么發生的。她被拘禁時受鳴禽保護，一只巨大的，機器鳥般的生物，是她的朋友也是她的看守人。
角色形象
伊麗莎白早期版本的設計形象被吐槽不好看伊麗莎白扮演者Anna Ormeli，但一位名為Anna Ormeli女孩的cosplay形象驚艷四座，隨后制作組便邀請她來做臉模。
后來因為女權爭議，伊麗莎白的胸部被縮水不少，又引起一部分玩家的爭議。
角色能力
因為斷指，獲得了可以打開時空裂境的能力，擅長物理，化學，醫學，破解密碼，開鎖等，這都是被關押在紀念碑島時學到的。在游戲戰斗時，她會尋找各種補給給玩家扭轉戰斗的形勢，并不會拖任何后腿。但在1999模式中，面對強大的敵人，伊麗莎白顯得有些無能為力，玩家只能靠特殊的戰術渡過艱難期了。

伊麗莎白的AI十分的聰明，Irrational Games花費了大量的精力來塑造她，伊麗莎白的配音說道，“我完全愛上了這個女孩”，連制作人Ken Levine都表示，有時候我都忘記了她不是真人。足以可見她的優秀之處，她會在戰斗中根據玩家情況遞給子彈和魔鹽，不戰斗時還會撿硬幣給玩家，開鎖，以及配合場景做出各種有趣的反應，如果你覺得這還不夠吸引人，那么游戲中間兩人分開，你就會明白“失去才懂得珍惜”這句話了。
伊麗莎白令人難忘，她是整部《生化奇兵：無限》的靈魂，也是一代《生化奇兵》的開山角色。
