創作背景
竇靖童遺傳了爸爸竇唯、媽媽王菲的音樂天賦，在2012年的12月13日竇靖童在新浪微博中發布她的原創單曲 《with you》，并呼吁大家幫忙轉發。該歌曲受到網友稱贊的同時，也得到了《吸血鬼日記》女主角妮娜·杜波夫的追捧。
2013年2月竇靖童正忙著在錄音棚中錄制正式版的《with you》，竇靖童表示她很快會把正式版上傳到SoundCloud(提供音樂分享的社區服務網站)與大家分享。竇靖童還曬出了一張其錄制時的美照，竇靖童留著長發戴著耳機，手插口袋，靦腆的對著鏡頭笑，而一身黑色裝扮顯得酷勁十足。

竇靖童（1997年1月3日-），王菲和竇唯的女兒。王菲在唱游中所填詞的《童》便是寫她了。日前她首度在公眾場合登臺唱歌，被贊嗓子媲美王菲。2011年7月10日，竇靖童在微博宣布已初中畢業，還上載了一張近照。2012年12月，15歲的竇靖童曬出自己的一首原創歌曲，清新的曲風和磁性的嗓音立刻引起圍觀。
